Paramotor Events Calendar

Due to the success of the last Bore Chasers events V the field size, there will once again be a limit of 150 pilots for this one. If you want a place then YOU MUST RSVP please.

ONLY 'PILOTS' NEED TO RSVP A PLACE. Guests of members do not need to RSVP

If you have not been to this one before, I am sure that all who have will agree that it's not one to be missed!

The location of the take off field is just perfect for following the tides that will be passing though over the weekend.

We will have the bar team back to take care of drinks.

For food, we can cater for ALL from chunks of red meat to seeds and lightly flavoured fruit tea ;-)

Camping for Tents, caravans and motorhomes is £10 for the landowner.

We will also be asking everyone for £10 which we will be donating to the local charity link below.

THIS EVENT IS FOR FULL MEMBERS ONLY.

If you are not a full member you need to upgrade to one before you RSVP. Non paid members will be taken off the list to allow space for those that are. (link below to VIP membership). For £30 per year you can come to all 3 events FOC! :-), triple the fun!!

The address is:

Milton End Farm, Arlingham, Gloucestershire, GL2 7JH.

Here is a short video from a past event :-)

Also, check out the full article from the last Bore Chasers event link below. :-)

I am so disappointed that, due to a calendar clash, I have to withdraw from flying at this event this time.

I hope the weather will be perfect for you all, have a great time, catch up with you all soon 😪

I'm working Friday and Sunday and so my place is up for grabs. If I can make Saturday afternoon I can just be a day visitor, I guess.

    • Hi Guys! Im 52, and living in Old Portsmouth. Ive done the BHPA Paragliding course (Eliminatory Pilot), with Green Dragons. now bought a Paramotor and wing and going to be learning with Simon W. be nice to start networking with Pilots in and around Hampshire! anyone local? .ga.
    • I have one I have my eye on that is open on one side. I have used it a few times to land on after camping out... (The rules for landing are a little more relaxed) Landing in small arias it quite doable once you have plenty of experience. Upavon Airfield might accommodated you "IF" you are launching and disappearing from the aria and staying away from their local ridge lift arias. Its inside one of the Danger Arias but a short hop north has you in open airspace. There's no harm in getting a feel for your local airspace so that your instructor will have less to do in double checking your grasp. Looks like you have some nice countryside down there to explore
    • Thanks for the reply. The pitch has built up areas on 3 sides but out to the west is clear so, wind favouring I could launch out that way and then away from pesky humans across farmland etc, but take your point. Then again landing would be a but erm....with the wind. There is a gliding Airfield at Upavon, I suppose I could ask them if I could use that. Dunno if that could be an issue. Regarding the airspace I suppose I can wait until I'm at the flight school in Swindon to get their opinion. I'm pretty sure they will know.
    • In the UK, the wheels/tires would have to be "road legal"... I personally would press my luck as long as they looked legal but very few paramotor trike tires I see in the UK look remotely road legal and they often have very poor quality bearings (None roller)... Not suitable at all. Well worth modifying if you have a bike for transport... Looks pretty convenient!
