Paramotor Events Calendar

Once again the Paramotor Club will be hosting another 'Bore Chasers' Fly-in at the Severn Bore. :-)

PLEASE USE THE RSVP OPTION.

If you have not been to this one before, I am sure that all who have will agree that it's not one to be missed!

The location of the take off field is just perfect for following the tides that will be passing though over the weekend.

We will have Nigel, (our normal PMC food) back again with Curries, Fajitas, and stuff. I am yet to have a bad thing said about his food. (other than it running out) we will of course have the normal bar facilities as well.

LATEST UPDATE: We will be having a fireworks display on Saturday evening shortly after dark :-):-):-)

Have attended this event twice now and all booked up for this next one, the location is excellent and if you never experienced a bore tide it's something else, to see a river go from tide out sand exposed river bed to instant full tide is fantastic. If you never experienced a PMC Flyin your  missing out, always well attended with some super people great flying and always great food and drink.  Even if your new to this and just wanna come along to meet other flyers You will be made always will be made welcome.

For anyone using sat nav that has not been there before - why not? lat 51.796075, long -2.409045 or N51.796075, W2.409045. This will take you to the farm gates, enter and keep going straight for quite a while to the end of the road. It's always a blast!!

My wife and I went last year and really enjoyed it everyone was so friendly and all had a good time ,it was good to see the different machines close up, the pilots were friendly and keen to show their motors, food was great and we all watched the tidal bore in the evening, quite a spooky feeling as the tide was coming up the river, even the flocks of birds were disturbed and didn't know what to make of the onrush of water.

We are looking forward to going again on Saturday ,cant wait ,Tony.

    • Hello guys & girls, I’m looking into getting involved with Paramotoring, I’m based near Southampton and I would like some help on where to get training and wheee to start please.    I thank you for your time and support  kindest regards,  Anthony
    • I have asked Rob the Farmer / pilot to have a look SW
    • Hi can now remember leaving it by the hedge ,could still be there as it was later on Sunday morning when I had my last flight, would love to get it back. Geoffw
    • Hi just hope that someone has found a ozone wing bag at the Banbury pmc flyin . Just when for it and I quickly realised I had left it behind at the pmc meeting, anyone who found it .please let me know,  Many thanks Geoffw.
    • After an engine out I cleaned the carb of a tiny amount of varnish  like muck. Next flight was ok but the following one engine stopped again. I replaced carb gaskets, diaphragms, needle valve and internal filter also fuel lines and inline filter. Pop off was 19 and reset at 10psi. I pressurise the fuel tank by blowing a couple of times into the tank breather tube and prime by pressing button on carb but sometimes the fuel has just reached the carb as normal BUT not filled the carb!  I can remove the Diaphragm cover and diaphragm, press the metering lever to open the needle valve and no air or fuel comes out! When I disconnect the fuel pipe to the carb and reconnect it,  then priming occurs as normal. Any suggestions as to possible causes or solutions would be very welcome thank you.
