  1. Well, you know these things come in 3's, so you've had yours now. Should be plain sailing from here You need one good flight and any thoughts of giving up will evaporate. Dan
  2. Great to see you up on your feet after that Malcs I doubt any other form of aircraft would have got off so lightly. Hope you get up in the air again very soon. Dan

    Icaro Helmet choice

What if the day is really sunny and bright. Is this type of visor still suitable? Sorry if these are dumb questions, it's just that I'm used to eye protection that makes everything darker, not brighter
  4. I was taught (Skyschool) to take A's in left, D's in right for more control bringing the wing up and also if all goes pear shapped, the d's will bring the wing down straight away. Is this a case of different strokes for different folks, or is there a definite best way to reverse launch? Dan

What effect does an orange visor have? Does it make everything orange? If it does, you're really gonna have to look out for those Easyjets

    Look on Ebay

Not taking sides here, as I don't know both sides of the story. However, generally speaking, there is nothing more frustrating than recieving poor service from a manufacturer or retailer and having no power to be heard........until now! I love the way the internet allows one voice to be heard by many. I'm sure that ultimately this is a good thing all round as it encourages better quality manufacturing, better after sales service and backup and should weed out the good from the bad sellers and in the long run IMHO will help the economy to recover.....maybe For a small company operating within a tiny, fledgling community who really listen to each other, this is a nightmare situation. On the other hand, the reverse is so when good service is given ie 'Parajet service' topics. It's not rocket science. btw I don't own either a Bailey or a Parajet, so I am impartial and am speaking in general terms....observing from a distance....Southern Spain
  7. Next on the list Ed, and already saving up PPG Training x Paramotor x Wing x Helmet x Headset GoPro More training and on and on Dan
  8. I think that sometimes people get carried away on Ebay. I had seen this item and was following it, but it ended up going for more than I paid Icaro on the website that Tom bought his from. What's more, when I asked to pay more for an upgrade to the Peltor Optime III they sent me the following reply: Dear Daniel, Ok, we will put the OPIII without applying you any extra cost…I think you appreciate. You will receive the tracking number as soon as we are ready with the shipment. Best regards, Gipsy Customer Service Dept. OUTSTANDING Thanks for the recommendation Tom
  9. Have just emailed them to see if they will upgrade to the Optime 3. Thanks Tom I definitely agree with the accessory project . Hours on t'internet
  10. Thanks Tom. Ordered. I think I'll go the same route as you and get an AV headset at a later date, when my finances recover. Dan
  11. Just about to order one of these helmets. How did you get on with the Peltor ear cups? Do they do a good job of engine noise supression? Comfy? Also, just measured my head at 58cm, so i guess I'll go with the medium. How did you find the sizing, is it accurate? Cheers Dan
  12. I sent a message to this seller asking for clarification on whether this wing is 'New' as advertised or used, as indicated in description. In his reply he admitted that he isn't actually sure how many hours the wing has flown I guess it's not New then! It really pisses me off when ebayers mis-lead like this
  13. Yeah, check the guys recent feedback before you place a bid on this one. http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=robovercyprus&&sspagename=VIP:feedback&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller I wouldn't risk it
  14. Thanks for the update Simon. Good work
  15. What's your all up weight Gary? And how much d'you want for your fusion? Dan

    Garmin GPS90

Yeah that sounds about right, because when I use my GPS196 next to it, it shows pretty much accurate altitude. It's a shame because my 196 is double the size. Thanks for that Fanman Dan

  19. cocksure replying. how many hours is abit? and can you do a power launch and land useing power?and more hours a pilot has the better.and when in take off made your gaining height or trying to .bring your hands down will cause a collapse.so with the time and experience you bring your hands up so wing will come forward perviding these no rotor in front of you . ok cock man Sorry Luke, I simply cannot understand what you just wrote. Therefore I don't know if you have a point or not. Could you please clarify. Thanks Dan ps I don't have any hours ,..... but as with anything I am really interested to learn from anyone with a good, non-aggresive attitude, who knows more than me

    Which stuff sack?

Has anyone had any experience, good or bad with stuff sacks? Trying to decide which one to get. Cheers Dan
  21. I think the guy has been drinking too much of the stuff on his wing!
  22. Hi Malcs I played around and was dissapointed with all, until I found Cyberlink Power Director. It's really good. Although not paramotor related, I have just done a quick edit job on the video I took at my daughter's Sports Day. It will give you an idea of the results. It's very easy to use. This footage was taken on my Panasonic Lumix FT1, which is the tough waterproof version of the TZ7. Same AVCHD Lite format: [youtubevideo]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hawd-2wbog8[/youtubevideo] Hope this helps. Dan
