    G6 Power

Better still just ask Gumin (in the contacts section) I think he might even be on this forum. Colin B
  4. Gary has it right So has Paramania. Letting out the trimmers lengthens both the C and D lines. The brake lines are attached about 12 inches further back. So the 4" of apparent slack at slow trim is taken up by the wing profile in fast trim. Remove the slack and you will be constantly applying brakes while trying to go faster and screwing up the reflex property's of the wing Colin B

    electrical charging.

I have a cigarette lighter socket on my swing arm, wired directly to the battery. Usually used to trickle charge the battery from a solar panel or the cars 12v outlet. I can also plug phone chargers/GPS into it (needs securing for flight) unfortunately cant be used as a proper cigarette lighter (too many amps) Colin B
  6. Just to clarify... The maximum LEGAL limit for ANY handheld transceiver in the UK is 5W However a quick search of the inter-nerd will uncover marine band radios at 6W and probably a thousand others. but who cares PS..Rigger If your wandering what to do tomorrow. Take a wonder down to membury. I Have the soldering iron and nobbling code to hand.

  8. Keep flying in your head after you land to think of what you got away with... Wise words.... Colin B
  9. Easy ... buy a repair kit... Your gaskets were shagged! http://www.ekmpowershop2.com/ekmps/shop ... 1811-p.asp Strip, clean and rebuild your 32 It will work like new, And you probably wont need to spend your hard earned on a 37. Simples Colin B
  10. Barry, The answer you seek lies at the bottom of this forums index page.. And if you click on the full member list (in Orange) you will see the full paid up members. Colin B
  11. super slick, yeehaw You gotta get yourself one of these babies....so cool man Super Quiet, super strong, built in crumple zone, most powerful motor in the known universe. super cool leopard print harness, with super safe knotted seat belts.etc etc...... Knock it on a few years to the current model and it actually makes the "320 improvements over previous models" claim quite feasible. Colin B Oh and Dave.....I wont mention props on backwards.
  12. I see no pictures of you Pete proberbly for the best eh!
  13. Must admit. I have watched it about 89 times Cool vid dude... I even spotted one of my mile high stills
  14. Just popping the adonoids in I think you might find that the 10,000" rule is an FAA instruction and not applicable here in Blighty. Maximum altitude for UK, Vfr flight is a slightly higher 24,500". With 8km visability. As opposed to 5km visability under 10,000"...1500m clear of cloud. Oh and a good clear view of the ground. We just have to find a bit of space without any class A above it Something like parachute jump zone that has been specificly activated for a few hours Colin B
  15. More like 5678ft to be exact If you have a peek in my album there is evidence to back it up.. Dan, Pete, Or anyone else up for a challenge. I feel the 2 mile mark is a possibility. Would be more fun (less lonely) with a few of us up there Colin B
  16. I like the music of a perfectly tuned engine, gently rasing and lowering in tone with altitude. Its absolute bliss, Compaired to the constant drone I have to endure while at home

    Sky diving

I am aware of someone who provides such an event. Chief instructor of the RLC rusty sheriffs badge, or is that the Silver Stars will have a word tomorrow, if he bothers turning up for work. Cost is probably negotiable considering both your positions, Rough and from behind ain't it? But I think around £120 for a one way trip. Why would he want such a foolhardy excursion? Colin B
  18. Me too Woody bholleran Dan_P ParaMotorMike LongWing edwardc timm9227 Spigot ( Colin B )
  19. Or.... As a potential instructor. If, as an instructor I felt that the student might cause damage or injury to themselves or others. As expected of an instructor, one would not put a student in the position to cause such an event. If as an instructor under instruction, I have over looked a potential hazard. than the instructing instructor would intervene. Not forgetting the fact that human error cannot be overruled, everything should be fine. Or... If MY student requires the use of MY motor for the course( more than happy to lend), You will be more than capable of flight before you even hear the starter motor engage. Colin B 2
  20. AHY... so long as he dont beat me up Colin "not the face" B
  21. Hi Dave, Did you try Dominic Colin B
  22. Dude... Nice one But I think you have failed to capture the full awesomeness of the site. Checking google earth. You have full access to the M4 in both directions via the services. For those of us that travel through Lambourne its 1.3 miles nearer. And best of all the service station (Petrol, Oil, Chocky bars, Month old sarnies, Porcelain toilets!) is next door!!! I wont have to go home....Ever! Colin B
  23. Hi Darko, Sounds like your carb was tuned fine, but with a part open throttle. At a guess I would say your throttle cable is too tight. Or the throttle butterfly is not returning to fully closed (weak spring?) Try adjusting the cable so you have a couple of mm play in the throttle lever. And then tune as per normal. Dobra dan Colin B
  24. Well Done Rupert about bloody time Feels great don't it? Colin B2
  25. Hi Gaz. The wires in the throttle cable should not be drawing large amps. they are merely to earth the relay or the ignition coil. The high amps are switched at the relay. give me a ring and ill talk you through it 07789 770 741 Colin B
