  7. Dan, thanks for that. How on earth did you find that? Have you ever flown from there? It's very spooky but as I was looking at the map a road name caught my eye, Toogood Place! My surname.
  8. Hi Dan, do you have a map ref for the Warfield playing fields? Cheers. Ken.
  9. Just picked up a breaking story on the BBC News site: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-t ... l-16774262 The title says Paraglider but the story is about 2 Paramotors in a mid air collision.Lets hope that their injuries arn't serious.
  10. Hi Martin, I used to ground handle in Windsor Great Park, in the dedicated kite flying area, but was asked to pack up and leave by the park rangers. There wasn't another living soul anywhere near me but they just didn't like it for some reason. I've since contacted the main office to ask for clarification, just in case they were being over zealous on that particular day, but I just got a flat NO. Someone did suggest Upton Park in Slough as a likely site for a bit of practice but I never got around to checking it out. It might be worth your while having a chat with Simon with a view to visiting Membury. I'm not sure what the rules are on visiting at the moment but it would be a quick blast up the M4 for you if he gave you the thumbs up.
  11. I was was out for a bit of a ramble yesterday (Jan 8th) around the Roman ruins at Silchester and saw a couple of Paramotors buzzing about to the south. It was about 1230 hrs. I couldn't make out the wing colours, and I'm not the greatest judge of distance, but I'd say that they were a couple of miles away. They stayed local so I'm guessing that the take off field must be somewhere local too. If it was you I'd love to get in touch for a chat. Regards, Togsie.

    who is this

All I can see is a huge penis. It's probably just me though, I was never any good at those ink blob tests either!
  13. It's a development board for a programmable device. The smaller boards are plug in I/O devices (input/output). So for example you could connect the Pot and write a program to light the LED's depending on it's position. The serial cable is used to download the program to the device from a PC (or it might even work on a Mac ) Lots of fun. I don't know which devices it supports but the ATMEL range used to be very popular. What are you up to now Simon?

    Android market.

Tj, you might want to take a look at MM Tracker. It's a 3rd party app that lets you use Memory Map QCT files on Android devices. There's a free version to try and a paid for version with a bit more functionality. You can get it here: http://www.xda-developers.com/android/r ... m-tracker/ Regards. Togsie
