  1. can only speak of the revo2 as have only owned that one, found it really easy to launch as most paramania wings are, pretty forgiving of bad piloting, nice and stable, rock solid in the rough stuff. from what I have been told the synth would make an equaly good beginners wing.
  2. bloody hell mate, you don't hang about, with the weather as it is over here most of us have not got as many flights in all year, well done that man
  3. he was very lucky, had his fuel ignited all we could have done is stand and watch him burn.
  4. The guy at ukppg event, had only just turned up.
  5. ukppg fly in at the weekend, he jumped down from there and was taken to hospital, burn on hands and leg but otherwise fine, motor was ok but the wing got trashed, he saw the lines at the last minute and tried to hit the throttle, as he hit the lines and his wing wrapped around them he was still holding full throttle witch blended the wing, it was a GTR.
  6. Chaps where do you fly from, I want to fly that stretch and get some aerial pics of the old military sites along that stretch of coast.
  7. all commercial radar filters out anything travelling below 50 knots to keep the screen uncluttered. we don't show up on airport radar.
  8. Nice video Tom, was it you I met in a field near potters bar?
  9. Nice, flying in t shirts and shorts, so jealous
  10. postcode for the venue please?
  11. as above fantastic blog, enjoyed following every minute of it
  12. Heard good things about them, but only from the dealers that sell them, however they dont seem very popular, wich may answer your question better.
  13. I agree with the above, the reason manufacturers class some of their wings as intermediate wings is because they presume the people flying have the xperience to fly on instinct, when your a beginner you will be thinking a lot about what you are doing, begginer wings give you that time to think, the higher rated a wing is the less tolerant it will be to the pilot making mistakes. Theres a lot to learn in this sport and you never stop learning. The day you think you know it all is the day you get caught out. The revo2 is a great beginners wing, proberly the best out there right now, its super solid in full reflex, very stable and is forgiving of big brake inputs. cut your teeth in a good beginners wing and you will be a better pilot for it. Have fun, Dave
