  1. How are you guys Hey I need some Miniplane parts. I'm trying to get Miniplane US to ship to my parents place in Brantford Canada. Once there they will ship them to Brazil. If I can not get Miniplane US to ship the parts is there anyone on here from Canada or US that is willing to buy the parts for me and ship them? I will pay all the cost by Paypal. Or do you know a good dealer in Canada/US that I can contact? There is a dealer here in Sao Paulo but I sick and tired of trying to contact him. Tom
  2. Man you care who you fly with do you? What are you using for a cam?
  3. Pat how are you. This really simple but on no wind days I simply grab the top of the breaks. I'm to lazy to buy and install the Acro handles. I don't like to wrap the brakes with paramotors so I just grab the top of the brakes. I also grab the tops when trowing the wing around (makes the wind more responsive with less imput) But I also have a digit throttle that makes it really easy to do this. It might be a little harder with the standard throttle.
  4. daneellard We had a guy here in Brazil (same issue 65 and a bit heavy). The ground handling almost killed him. I thought he was going to give up. Then he learned a few things 1. No training on 1-3kn days. He came out only from 3-7kn days or every morning lol. Winds generally build here then drop to nothing at 5pm or it's completely blown out for the day. 2. he kept at it like paying his ex-wife 3. He realized that he would have to get really good a launching, long running was not in the cards. Now everyday we have 4-10 kns you can be sure hes at the site. He's a pop the wing up one-three step guy. But we are lucky to have some crazy good flying conditions here. I know its not so easy where you guys are. Some times we get a little tired of flying if you could imagine this lol. I kitesurf so many times I fly in the morning midday or night depending on the day then have a kite session in the middle somewhere.... sleep like a rock these nights lol
  5. I have the 26 Speedster and I'm not sure you need to use both. As you know you can use both all through the reflex range (Normal & ALC). This does not make sense to me knowing the impacts using the normal brakes have on a reflex profile but you can if you wish. So if your in reflex and want your hart to skip a beat just reach up have pull 12" on the ALC, I'm not sure why you would need the normal brakes. The ACL on the speed is another animal I've never been on a reflex wing that has a dynamic ACL like this. I fly both the Nuc and Ozone and I remember after flying the Nuc I hopped on the speed and gave the ALC's a 12" pull......wow full spiral dive in about 220deg lol
  6. "now so i've started up a new hobbie its called 'Staring at your paramotor with your mates in a cold garage'....don't think its going to catch on somehow." Add free beer and the hobby will grow faster then you could imagine! To the other Canadian (Patrick).... Taking Booze to a farmer works magic and the photo's are a great Idea!!! You know once he hangs the picture everyone the enters the house will have to here the story of how it got it!!!!! lol Simon there is an idea that might work really well for some of your site owners. Welcome to the forum Sam
  7. Shit when I seen "one life, live it!" I thought you got divorced again! lol Marry Christmas and happy New Year to All
  8. Amazing work. I find this type of work absolutely amazing. Coming from the technical world we really never get to create anything (at least I don’t feel that way). I’ve being involved in connecting continents together, on ships dropping fiber out a sea etc and for me it’s just another boring day. But I could sit and watch people make things from metal for hours….. Great project, can’t wait to see a video of it running. Cheers T
  9. Sorry I was away traveling. I'm a member of the HGFA but have never had to present anything here in Brazil free flying/paramotor. Agreed here in Victoria as long as you do not impact the commercial traffic no one will care and there is no real formed body governing the sport. We actual fly withing the normal restricted commercial zone here in Victoria. We have one beach that is half a click from the airport. We keep below the main high rises but still fly here no issue. As for take offs "any beach will do" We actually self govern ourselves and new pilots to take care of beach goers to avoid accidents. From where I see it the Brazil government is to busy robbing tax $ from the people to be concerned about some guys flying around with little motors on their backs. cheers
  10. I'm a little nervous to opens Simon's movies now? wow that is really bad Paraglider accident (stupid people tricks) T
  11. I thought the same thing!!!! BTW Nice wing! Too easy to launch!!

  14. I was on something, although more of a shrubbery in nature Ahhh... Time Warp!!!! lol Too funny!
  15. Simon I don't think it was a system error notice the time of the post "PostPosted: Sun Nov 10, 2013 8:34 pm" I'm guessing outkast was inhaling large quantities of red at this time thus the user error. Also explaining the time travel...... cheers T
