  1. Cheers Gary i must admit if i have problems with things i tend to steer clear of them and go for a different make Dave i will check out those pictures thank you. Powerlord fantastic video really enjoyed that, have you any videos done by your Hd go pro that i could watch also what is the camera pictures like when you set it to picture mode cheers Alan.
  2. Hello i am pondering buying a decent camera for aerial photography now i have thought about the main features i would be looking at ie easy to use with gloves on large screen etc the one i thought might be best was the lumix maybe. What camera are you currently using and what do you like or dislike about it cheers Alan.
  3. Excellent Jock my favourite is the tandem one.
  4. Ive worked out why he is flying with no cage if you look close i think he is flying one of those (censored) enough said the cage probably fell off in flight they are only held together with grub screws and chewing gum lol. I could be wrong though?.
  5. That guy was my Instructor in 01, Eric Sky God...did look like he had a cramp or sumpthin tho Marko , Canada Welcome Canada whats the weather like at your end where having a bit of a cold snap at the moment cheers Alan.
  6. Dave i fly the 29 if you fly a 26 with your B52 bomber you will land like a bullet on nil wind days but the main reason i bought the 29 was the free flying all up weight. My equipment and weights as follows: Parajet macro 30kg Fusion 29 9kg Fat lard arse 96kg clothing 5kg reserve/instruments 4kg 12 litres fuel 9kg? This comes up at 153kg now i know you dont count your fuel but i have had to land sometimes just after take off which on a nil wind day led to a fast landing that i could not level out no brake travel left next time i will take a rap. That said on most nil wind days i need to take a rap as i always come in fast and i have tried many different settings and that is after burning the fuel off. So a 26 would be faster i would have thought my observations only though.
  7. I had just bought my equipment and waiting to go to Andalusia to do my EP CP Bhpa coarse and every night i was in the garage starting the engine and playing with it looking at videos on you tube and saw someone else doing this and thought ill have some of that. Anyway I lowered the seat on my bike put the motor on and thought ill peddle round the corner and start the engine up there. As i live in a village quiet at that there is a dead end road that is hardly ever used, perfect starts to peddle there my neighbour who was with me shouts theres a car coming so i pulled over as it is a narrow road only to be confronted with a police car, you never see the police in the village. Police man puts the passenger window down and looks me up and down and says your not going to start that whatever it is up are you, now I am 47yrs old and look it so i said no i am just getting used to balancing it for practise on this quite road officer he told me he would observe so i candidly maneuvered my bike in the opposite direction and wobbled back to my driveway. Maybe another time.
  8. Cut to the chase Gary which ****** caught fire? I must admit it made me laugh out loud obviously it would not have been funny at the time but the thought of it is still making me laugh sorry cant help it. Maybe i will carry a small fire extinguisher on board just to be on the safe side in future.
  9. Hey Dave it looks a good way to shed a few more pounds maybe we could start a slim plan diet based on this?.
  10. Totaly agree with Garys comments Dave buy quality none of this unproven stuff i bought all of my equipment second hand which consisted of a Parajet Macro £2400, Dudek Synthesis 34 £1900. Do not buy anything off a company called PARAMOTOR STORE . COM in Germany an absolute shower of shits it took me 8 months to get my money back of them buy local if you get a problem you can meet face to face and resolve oh dont put your motor on your back and than get on your push bike the police are not amused other than that you should be ok, Alan
  11. Hi Alan. Owzit gwain bay ? Yes I forgot it's a yank. You still enjoying that Fusion Mate ? Absolutely Dave i have put some miles on it now flown in fog and snow with it. It handles superb launches spot on and i have lost a stone in weight so i am getting closer to my all up freeflying weight ready for my summer siv coarse. Dont delay buy one to day Dave you know it makes sense, Alan.
  12. hmmm, still waiting lol, liked the other post where you sit yourself down 40 miles in front and i quote " Then he pulls his tank and runs to get petrol, easily,at the nearest fuel station" oh Iye taken up marathon running than have we ha ha . Dont you put gas in them Dave?.
  13. Nice one Dave lol and where are you getting a Macro three bladed propeller for £240 are you holding out on us Parajet broken prop sufferers.
  14. Hello Dave, I fly a Parajet Macro I have found this to be a fantastic machine lots of power for those nil wind days you will not struggle to launch. I bought the macro because i want and do fly cross country so i wanted a machine capable of this and to be honest even if you just want to fly around a small area i would still recommend one. As for other machines who fly from our club I would certainly recommend a Pap paramotor, one chap who flys a Pap 80 1400 weighs over 16 stone and this amazing little machine flys him although you have to have good ground handling/take off technique which he has. A massive plus on the Parajet is its an English machine the parts and after sales service are second to none thats all i can realy say Dave cheers Alan.
  15. Spot on Simon anyone wanting to learn paramotoring and reading this site should have no hesitation signing up when i first took up paragliding i visited a few paragliding websites and the second one was Activeedge run by Dean Crosbie, his site and endorsements did it for me and i signed up. Your new site would do the same if i was looking to start paramotoring from scratch. Also i do envy you turning something you love into a commercially viable business, well done and long may it remain my only gripe is i live along way from you and your flying events which i would love to come along to because paragliding and paramotoring has certainly taken over my free time cheers, Alan.
  16. Snap Tom' I must admit we have had a lot of flying over the Christmas break, today I got forced down by a snow shower but was back in the air 15 minutes later not as exciting as been tagged by a world war 2 fighter chocks away old chap, Alan
  17. Jean' I forgot to mention the defining quality (best) of Parajet, its the people who work there the help and support are truly second to no other. Any advice or parts i have needed is given by people who will bend over backwards and ask if this is enough and this must be an important factor when purchasing a Paramotor. And no I don't work for the company in fact I bought my Parajet second hand, Alan.
  18. Hello Jean, Don't worry about the English grammar as my French is nothing short of appalling every French person i meet and try to communicate with tell me to speak English as they understand me better. Anyway we have 5 Parajet makro's at our club and they are all spot on, meaning very good. Pro's are well engineered start on the button good fuel consumption very reliable. Con's on the heavy side when learning. Hope this helps, Alan.
  19. Well Dave if you can't keep your wing up it may help on other areas, Alan.
  20. All the best Dave have a good one , Alan.
  21. Hello Steve, After you fitted the new plug did you fly the machine and was it fine as i had a power loss problem that was none of the above.
  22. Just an observation the bloke flying the yellow wing looks like he is wearing some right girlie silver plimsoll's when he is in the air and the other one who landed last must have been frightened because at the end of the video he is walking like he shat himself lol.
