    Great Gloves

Just completed two 2hr flights on cold days and had recently bought a pair of the Gin winter alpine gloves. Although the gloves are a bit pricey they are not over bulky and allow good dexterity and most importantly keep your fingers warm and working. Five stars from me (they are the ones with 80 gms of insulation).
  2. Hello Dan, Yes he primes it but it always appears to flood no matter how little you do it we have a HE 120 and that starts fine his engine usually needs jumping of a car battery to get it going as though his battery has not got enough umph.
  3. I have not had it out of its bag for 3 years i will have to check the date as it is on the wing along with its other details, I took it along to my first paragliding lesson and was told to put it back in the bag in so many words as it was to old.
  4. Well heres a first I am answering my own post as this motor appears to be as popular as a chocolate fire guard.
  5. You took the words right out of my mouth poz i could carry on with the rest of the meatloaf song but time for an interlude, so what wing and motor was you using spill the beans please Alan. I have a 1991 i think edel wing keeping it just in case it becomes a collectors item lol.
  6. Hello Druff, I use the micro avionics set up which is a helmet that takes a headset underneath, you can use the helmet on its own. You can plug a music player in or a mobile phone buy buying the correct lead from micro avionics. I have to use a radio as i fly from Linly hill airfield which is run by Hull aero club but if I where flying from a field with my mates its good to be able to talk to each other so the radio option is good cheers Alan.
  7. Cheers Mikey I just need you to fly with me again until i get mine so i can get some good footage lol.
  8. Not yet Mark but it will be the Gopro I watched the gadget show last week and thy had 3 helmet cams on and the gopro was credited as the best. Spent a lot this month so i will get one next month.
  9. Hello chaps, On behalf of a flying friend who has the above paramotor is there anyone else who has the 220 and can advise on starting procedure as his is a bit of a nightmare. also what ampage battery is fitted to your machine thanks in advance Alan.
  10. Cheers Morgy, I have been out twice with my Fusion but on both occasions there was not enough wind to soar, I am over the all up weight by 10kg on my 29 so I want to see how it behaves. I recently had a week in Montenegro flying and i used a airwave wing with an all up weight of 120kg so i have something to compare it with I am hoping it will live up to its duel purpose roll on the heavy side if it does i was hoping to book an siv coarse on it.
  11. Hello Morgy, Did you have your trimmers on Neutral in that wind or did you have them on full slow cheers Alan.
  12. Have you used it yet and what did you think, cheers Alan.
  13. HelloMorgy, I can not top your 200km one but most of my flights are around the 30 to 40 mile radius i usually fly with Mark T and we have been planning some longer flights, landing out and refuelling. We also want to do a 10,000 foot flight in summer as the airfield we fly from has microlights and one of the pilots did this last summer and we can't be outdone lol.
  14. Not sure if you have already purchased a camera Alan, but if not check out the replacement Lumix model for the TZ-7: Panasonic Lumix TZ-10 Due out next month - it has some interesting enhancements, including the built-in GPS function. A cheaper alternative would be one of the new Lumix 'F' models - which all support 720p, and look aggressively priced: F3 (12.1MP, 720p): $130 FP1 (12MP): $150, FP3 (14.1MP, 720p): $230 FH1 (12MP, 720p): $160, FH3 (14.1MP, 720p): $180 FH20 (14.1MP, 720p): $200. Andy Cheers Andy i have not bought one yet partly because my hands freeze when i take my gloves off to use the one i have but it gives me more time to research. I am definitely interested in a hd go pro Simon so let me know when you are ordering next month would suit me cheers Alan
