  1. Well.... Good question Windtech Zenith max speed trim* (km/h) 40km min-max speed* (km/h) 22-59km Gin Airflex They do not state the gliders speed anywhere. But interestingly enough Gin has replaced the airflex already! http://www.gingliders.com/paramotoring/ what was the pilot loading (all up weight on both). T
  2. Why would you want to get into this sport? [vimeo] [/vimeo]

  4. Nope high winds all weekend. Sat was a good kite surfing session with 20kns! Sunday I drove to a flying site but still 12-13kns of ugly looking wind so I decided to have a beer lol
  5. I use one I will take some pic's and give you some pointers in the morning.
  6. That's is the main problem Battery Tech is way behind. Something new needs to enter the market. Look at cell phones and Iphone for example they need to be charged everyday. What a pain. I'm lucky if I get 8h out of mine due to work. T
  7. Not that I recommend you try this lol But a few flights back I took off with one trimmer full reflex and one in take-off position. I could not understand why I needed a ton of brake on the one side. I also have the speedster. I stopped for a drink and the guys where looking at my kit and someone must have played with the trimmers. So now I don't worry if I let them out the same time or one at a time. Letting both out at the same time is best I think T
  8. Can some one get a few sunny F'n days up for sale?
  9. 720-armour Sharks http://www.720-armour.com/_english/02_p ... 10&SID=150 These things are amazing for air,water and land. T
  10. Im not sure I'm comfortable flying a motor from Hobby King Electric motor Turnigy RotoMax 100cc – suitable for electric ppg ? Slightly cheaper than the previously mentioned Turnigy CA120-70 brushless motor $450 at this time of writing. The new RotoMax 100cc is $333 from hobbyking.
  11. Full add; Parajet Zenith adds the Vittorazi Moster Parajet has added the Moster engine to the Zenith range giving a choice of 5 engines. Top80, Polini Thor 100 & 200, Bailey V5 and now the Vittorazi Moster. With the Moster the Zenith becomes one of the lightest, high power machines available on the market. Weighing in at an expected 23kg with over 70kg thrust with the 130cm helix carbon propeller, with its many ground breaking design features Parajet are leading the way in paramotor designs. Just don't know if it has the harness. That would be a crazy powerful unit and light. http://www.earthairandwater.com/blog/20 ... zi-moster/
  12. So....anyone flown a Gtr? Just helping out Matt. lol
  13. Are you really looking for a pair?

  17. I don't disagree I was just rounding up the motors that fit into this category. Add some if you guys know of more. The Parajet Zenith with monster is a sexy unit! lol But what I can see is the ones that are in the low end 20-23k are all taking on the same shape. I guess they don't have to many options when your working on HP to Weight ratios cheers guys

  21. ah shit lol didn't see that.... too funny
  22. Yes, not because I have one but just my interest in how they have integrated FI into a 2stroke. I'm guessing it's a simple throttle body design with no reeds. I don't think the motor will be lighter.... more HP? don't know... Yea the new gliders and 130props are great. My starter cord broke so I need to get the new one before I can add the bungee for inflight start (to short). but thanks for the info. I'm 80k and fly in short most time so I don't need much more. But If I did it again I would have a hard time not buying the Ultra 130 ABM with all the goodies coming in at 20.7k ; "The 1mm thickness, 100% titanium exhaust weighs only 0.9 kg and the company claim it will reduce motor noise “considerably”. It brings the weight of the Ultra 130 down to a paltry 20.7 kg, including harness, propeller and battery." But do you need it for the extra cash? I'm not sure, what I have works great now...... its human nature to want what you think you don't have..... lol I hope I can squeeze a fly in between the rain this weekend. What I really need is to do that Africa run! I have a ton of vacation!!!! lol T
  23. Confidence will make a world of difference. It's what all beginners need to find. However it's what the experienced need to tuck under their belt once in a while and remain humble and safety conscious. Great blog and keep it up your almost there. Are you doing no winder's for take off? I was watching the new guys here thinking of you last weekend. They take off with ease.... lol But only when the nice 5-6kn sea breeze genitally picks them up. With out this grace I was watching them run around like crazy's lol It really make a big difference when your learning
