  1. I think you answered your own question Think of the throttle like any other input.... Do it slowly. Ideally for the first flight on new kit, you should be finding level flight 'equilibrium' as a minimum. Our first flight ever guys are asked to do this for perspective as it is a basic need early on. Just remember to be gentle with the power on/off, I am sure this will help SW

  4. ASPEN2 is an amazing fuel for 2 strokes. It is BRILLIANT for storage as well. When I purchased some, I was told by a rep that for garden stuff, Chainsaws, and so on to ensure the carb is FULL and it will start in the spring! ( I have been using this in this method now for around 3 years in my garden stuff ) If it was not so expensive I would 100% use it in the Paramotor!! (They all do in Sweden) I would say, buy a gallon of it, fill the carb and fuel system with ASPEN and block and little holes you don't want spiders nests in, and your good to go! My Chainsaw started yesterday second pull for the first time in about 8 months sat in a shed. https://aspenfuel.co.uk/ SW
  5. To all those who are coming to the first 2018 Bore chasers..... The beer / booking in / tent will be HEATED And I mean heated!! We now have a large marque heater (suitable for one 4 times the size of ours) Not only will of course the fire pit be lit (please bring a couple of logs each )... but you will now have a warm room to warm your cockles SW
  6. Sorry, I have only just seen this... We are full time, 7 days a week 365 days a year... (The only day we are not in the field is if its not flyable) I know we have spoken on the phone now but wanted to so the question was answered for others also SW
  7. Hi Adam, Please do give me a call We are almost certainly the closest to you. Welcome to the Paramotor Club!! SW
  8. It pains me to say that I think most of the Paramotor props are made using a Poly resin... If its taken a 'solid' black chunk that will be pigmented gel coat which they use to fill the tight spots before lay up, so that you cant see the messy fabric behind. SW
  9. Our EOS 100 did take quite a while to run in fully. I would say, don't change anything until you get to 10 hours. Is it OK when its warmed up? SW
  10. Begs the question, is it worth the risk? Aside from the fact that it's open to being robbed or tampered with while you stop for a poo and a brew. This happened in Thailand.
  11. Hi Torchy, We can help, based close to Newbury 07983 428 45 three SW
  12. Andy, they would most likely send James over to Lee Moss as he is doing most of the mechanical / servicing stuff now. Lee can be contacted on: 07919 91371three SW
  13. Hi Phil, welcome to the Paramotor club I am 99% sure that the instructor that was in Cornwall is no longer teaching I am afraid to say. (I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong) We do teach a good number of people from Devon / Cornwall, so I guess it may be us that you come too if there is still no one closer. Again, welcome and please do fire any questions you have at us. SW
