  2. Great idea, Not sure about the answer. I will need to ask the web geek if its doable.
  3. A Larger site requires a larger lump of cash.... The site already has advertising on it BTW I know what your saying, I will not be adding flashy pop ups or anything anoying. Just a rotating banner at the top of the page (as is now) you may have a blocker and so cn not see them.
  4. Day of 26/6/2007 ONLY The web site received 1,490 visits. A typical visitor examined 3.05 documents before leaving the site. A typical visit lasted for 1.43 minutes. 5. I have to find and delete them myself about every two hours. I then delete the user and record the IP address. if they join I ban the IP. Cant do anything much more than that I dont think.
  6. Hi Martin! More than welcome matety! (as you say, assuming the weather stays good) It still looks like its going to be flyable (but not a bright sunny day) Martin, you should bring your motor with you For that horrible ground handling with your motor on your back day........
  7. Consider yourself booked in for Sunday. I think the weather will be such that you will get air under your feet for sure.
  8. Thats what I was talking about Thanks very much. I will arrange a dealership for both. If you know him, ask him to join up.

  11. Eddi, FYI, I will be getting one of your units for our Dartmoor flight, just have to sell a bit more stuiff to get the pennies together. I dont think that 'your main UK competitor' as you say is someone that we are loking at either to be honest. An inexpensive STARTER helmet with basic head set (it must exist out there somewhere!)
  12. "The question I'll have to ask Simon is how do you get this blasted wing to launch reliably in no wind? Am I just being a weakling or is there a knack to it?" A bit of both, You need to make a full comitment to the launch... (this tends to tail off the more you do 'as with most people' ) Get the wing layed out well and into wind, dont PULL on the risers just guide the wing up. The main thing to remember with the Reflex wings is thet they are FASTER so eveything needs to happen with a little more speed. Dont worry you WILL get it sussed, do keep at the practicing.
  13. LOL 23rd I mean LOL Looks the same, was good this morning but only until about 11:30
  14. Eddie, Your kit is without a shadow of doubt top notch stuff and well worth the money. When Syudents come through the system they have a massive amount of money to spend, Course, wing, motor, reserve, boots, gps, radio, gloves, helmet e.t.c Most come to me on a budget but some just want the best! for the people who just want the best... I will 100% reccomend your kit. For the people on a budget however......... Could do with a nice simple entry level priced unit. I used a full face hill helmet and a £35 self wire in speaker and mic. (agreed the sound was not great but it did the job for a year) I think my helmet was £100 (100% carbon Fibre) so all in, £135. Make sence?

    Helmets

All, I am getting quite a number of students now and most are looking for helmets / Headsets. I am already a dealer for the Micro Avionics stuff but would also like to sell a lower end option. Can anyone reccomend one? The one that I have from RAD is a great starter unit. (Martin.... Can you still get the helmets with builtin headsets like the one I have?
  16. TOMORROW MORNING!!!! Its going to be flyable in the morning and I will be flying. Anyone else? Glies from Parajet will also be here
  17. I HAVE SOME GREAT NEWS I am currently in the final negotiations with another local land owner to secure another field close to Ashdown House. I have been talking to them for a few months now and have got to the point where I am happy to make this announcment The field is a very large flat area with full access by car. It has 360o take off and landing with ample room for mistakes or faults. Without harping on too much IT IS PERFECT!!!!! This site will be accesable by PAID UP MEMBERS ONLY due to the cost to me, there will be no exception to this rule. If you would like to join you can do so by sending a cheque for £60 to:- Simon Westmore Park Farm Lodge Upper Lambourn Hungerford Berkshire RG17 8RD Please make sure that you put your name, address and phone number on the back or in a covering letter. For those members who have paid I will let you know when I can give you a tour of Site 2.
  18. Just had a call from Giles (Parajet MD) and I will take delivery of my gleaming new Titanium Parajet Volution tomorrow So I can sit and look at it until the weather gets better
  19. Good point, well spotted! I will pass this on to the ABC people.
  20. I forgot to mention that I got my RC Paramotor in the end (its called a Paracoptor though) My misses (Patti) found me one on E-bay and the bloke says he can get more. (they are £75 though!) Very good fun, I will ask someone to take some pictures next time its in the air.
  21. LOL make sure the knot is a good one and tie off any excess. (dont cut it off) You will get there in the end mate.
  22. Hi Ian, I was watching from a far to be honest and I said to my misses, "I bet he has the trimmers set on the pi**." Hope you enjoy it as much as I do when the time comes to fly it
  23. They are likely to be decided on the day with the help of all taking part. It will be something like:- Anything cosnidered to be unsafe by me will result in a disqual. Anyone taking it to seirously will be disqualed. The LANDING will be taken from the place where the pilot LANDS, non of this girly tapping stuff If you land 20ft away from the spot, you will be scored accordingly. Feel free to interject mate
  24. All, This Sunday is looking good for Lambourn.
