  1. That guy was my Instructor in 01, Eric Sky God...did look like he had a cramp or sumpthin tho Marko , Canada
  2. Can you give us an update on the cyclone Simon? Mark
  3. 550 Oregon is listed at $499.99 USD Cheers
  4. Over the shoulder floating J-bars (high as they get?) lifts the weight of the motor (off your back) soon as the wing is up. This makes it easy to notice right away and throttle down before you slide out of the harness because it would just leave you there and fly away. It's so benign you can turn around and drop the wing for a reverse inflation after hooking up all 3 straps! That was my take on it anyway, I fly the low ones now but prefer the high ones in low variable wind take offs. Another Canadian perspective Ciao, Marko:D
  5. Take off run on fast trim to high speed face plant - no fire just prop shards. I'll pay, name your price. Mark
  6. the new Garmin is quite nice, 3.2 megapixel camera (with zoom), touch screen, altimiter barometer, electronic compass, micro card for extra maps etc. she talks between other Oregon and Colorado units (info share your waypoints). I had been using a Garmin 12 and this is a big upgrade...for example to lay out a route you can pan & touch, instead of uploading after entering a series of coordinates. Too easy to use, it stores all track information, shows an altitude graph in time or distance, logs coords on yer picts - must I go on? Happy tracking, Marko D
  7. that's trippy art work Norman, twisted and very cool.
  8. Paramania sent me 20 lines for a Revo and they arrived 3 days later in Canada (2 if you don't count the day I called - I was amazed at the turn around time. I only needed 10 but matched the other side just4fun. Cheers, Marko Fusion 29 (with a spare A line)
  9. ...winglets wos that? I like the Pulse from Nirvana wonder how it compares with the Jetters new Scimitar
  10. Aye just ordered the new Oregon 550, it has a built in camera but the bestest part is it talks to other Garmins like the Colorado so you always know where your flying buddy's are (coordinate sharing). Colour, touch screen, SD micro chipster ooey lala see tripple dub garmin dot com GPS = safety feature is wot I tell the dragon lady to justify the brutal cost...i.e. it's a TOOL not a TOY. I'll be explaining that to her in the very near future . Have mercy, Marko D
  11. Freak accidents happen more often than we like to admit, just last week three freaks in a van ran into five freaks in a microbus. Kudos to the boyscouts that were prepared with fire extinguishers - there's a big message there somewhere about taking care of your friends. I too hate to abort a good pace on a macro - slow down I don't think so - a a aaaoww sorry Baldy but that's 2 significant heart palpitations in less than a year - arretti la palpitatus. If you want a video of the macro trike launch I will seek out a photographer. Cheers and band aids, Marko D Macro/Fusion 29 Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere in life is full of heroism.
  12. ...looks like ABT in a right hand circuit requiring adjustment on the port side lest a dizzying spin ensue rendering the entire forecast unmemorable to say the least.

My Macro grabs eyes where ever she goes, that initially drew me in too. Now I see some genuine engineering went into the machine...things like a rear mount for the starter motor (where others shear off) the unique cage style (which I saw something like on the new Nirvana video so they must like it too), the extreme power generated from this classy act still has me dazed and the riding style of these swing arm low hangers is so big I still don't know what it's all about or how to use it to full advantage but I do know I am more comfortable with increased feel of the wing as opposed to what I was expecting from what I heard about a busier ride - well busier maybe but via removing a "mask" don't know quite how to explain it but sort of like Johnny Cougar's lyrics hurt so good, sometimes love don't feel like it should, you make it UH UH hurt so good - da da da da. Can't hardly wait to Rotronize me Macro, hurry up Jim (please I mean). Stay Classy and don't forget to torque your heads, those are high ratio power pulses, Marko p.s. that means post script - the only part of that motor that has failed me so far is "me" Yes, we are one.
  15. ...and what are the ramifications of "excessive arc" across the chord?
