  1. Great to hear you have new motor mate! FYI (or others) Parajet offer a High hang point version of all of there motors, but only sold them to girls so did no market them LOLOLOLOLOLOL ALL PLEASE KNOW THAT WAS A JOKE!!!!!! the girls bit...... all joking a side, not sure if the Parajet range caters for Eliphants with extra large ears. I blame the Wine... SW

  5. Norman, In the absence of a time machine, next week has not yet happened SW
  6. It will be added soon, (when the pennies are back up) Or..... £10 per answer (call me) SW
  7. Early mornings have been good this week. I had a sneeky 30 mins yesterday morning and it was silky smooth as always at 'silly o-clock' Its up to you guys, I am more than happy to be on site at sunrise. SW
  8. There has been a number of concernes regarding the (untested) shackles that are fouind on most low and mid hang point Paramotors. I am currently arranging for a large batch of the two most common types used to be X-rayed. (NOTE THIS IS NOT A LOAD TEST) this is just so that they can be 100% clear of imperfections. There is a company in Wales DMM who (CAN LOAD TEST) Random Shackles from the batch of Xrayed ones. This is a simple but effective way of helping to solve this matter. I will update this thread as and when. SW
  9. Ok I get the hint, I will talk to a load of people when the weather is naff again, and sort out some money savers. (or a list of member benefits) I can already do a club rate on any Parajet Paramotor. but will add to this list as soon as possible. If you are the importer or manufacturer of a flying product please get in touch. SW Well done for De-Lurking yourself.
  10. Perfect, thanks. I got your PM and am digesting it, thanks again. SW
  11. Do that mate, give them my number SW
  12. Will do good idea is that a yes then to get the ball rollong?
  13. All, I am in the mood to get some T-shirts printed / sewn with the above logo. I am also going to get a price for small bumper stickers to go on your Motor and or Helmet. In the main my questions is this.... Would you be interested in buying a Paramotor Club T Shirt with 'It's the pilots that make the party!' and the above logo? I can think of no reason why they should be any more than a tenner but I suppose this will depend on numbers. Please reply with YES if you would buy one. Cheers! SW
  14. Sounds great, No to far, hummm.... Welcome by the way SW
  15. All, I find it very hard to understand quite how this site is attracting this amount of traffic but I am very happy that it is doing so. I firmly belive that this forum is the 'nicest' one to be in. We have a great vibe and great members. 'Its the people that make the party' We now have 180 members and attract 450 visits every day, and rising.... (1011 a few days ago!) Thanks to everyone on this site I remain overwhelmed and in your debt. Below is the number of banner clicks each of our advertisers attracts each week! 16. And as far as I know, Jim Carolan the chairman has resigned his position? in favour of a younger replacement. OK I do have some beef about this subject for more than one reason which I aint going to mess up this lovely nice forum with but..... In part I set up this site as a way of saying to the 'association' types that we dont need it! This club has run more events than any other, it did not require a board, a committiee, or an associaton, its members are growing very quickly and the Lmbourn Club events are in full busy mode. Our Club, and indeed website, is getting to be well know for not getting involved in the political rubbish and getting on with having fun and doing some flying 'that many others like to 'talk' about so often'. I also have beef with a current board member, and would feel badly represented by any association with this person involved. Thats about as ranty as I get. SW
  17. My Personal view is that its just 'another' association, run buy all the same people who run the other two. It has been formed for over a year and has yet to do anything other than put up a website. Independant for me as you say.... I just want to go flying! you can keep your politics and rubbish SW
  18. If you want your picture in the News Paper doing some flying, please be at the Lambourn Paramotor Club site this weekend when flyable. It will be a good weekend anyway but more so cas the Newbury news paper will be there. Cheers all. SW
  19. Do you know someone who is thinking about taking up Paramotoring? I have decided to make the taster day that I offer a freebie on the 26th of August and September the 1st. So if you know someone who is thinking of starting the sport.... Bring them along and we will make sure they have a great taste of what to expect. Let me know if you intend to bring someone so that I can keep a grip of the numbers Please spread the word out far and wide Office notice boards, other forums you may use, e.t.c Anyone reading this wanting more information please call me on 07983 428 453 Thanks SW
  20. Cool I wonder if this was in slow trim or Reflex ? I could do with finding out who this was. Thanks! SW
  21. All, When my head is in the right place, I intend to...... Fly my Synthesis up to 3000 ft and set up on full trim and speed bar and enduce a full frontal collapse. The Paramotor Mag is currently debating this issue and I am happy to put it to rest, I will get up to 3k with a reserve and pull in a frontal. This will be videoed from the air and the ground and with a helmet cam on my head. I will publish the video when done. SW
  22. Well, that is an internesting idea, since it is so close....... Lets see how many people want to do the visit and the ask how many want to fly it V Driving it. SW
  23. I cant belive you stayed at the Warren House Inn !! What a great little pup in the middle of nowhere, There is a disused mine there called the 'Golden Dagger' which I used to absail into as a kid. Do you remember the name of the landlord? Great to see you had a fly down there at least. SW
