  1. It may be worth noting that we have had a PEN Tester (also PMC member) trying to penetrate the sites security over the last 12-15 hours who WE ASKED to do so. Thankfully unsuccessfully SW
  2. That's your call of course. all of those emails were fake and sent by the person who logged into my account. It honestly is as simple as that. When I am allowed to fully explain I will, until then you can either trust me when I say you have nothing to worry about or we can remove your account SW .
  3. Jakal, If you would like to call me I will be happy to tell you what I can. I have currently been advised by the Police not to communicate with anyone or share any information about it at this stage. 07983 428 453 SW
  4. Hi All, The last 24 hours has been rather exciting for me as I am sure you can guess. Overall I am in a very positive mood. A few things for you to know are: 1. We do not store ANY bank details ANYWHERE. Our only method of payment has always only ever been Paypal for this very reason. I can assure you with 100% confidence that your details are safe. 2. The site structure was never compromised. Everything still works as normal. 3. We have added a 2 factor Authentication to the admin area which means my phone would need to be cloned every 30 seconds to stand even the slightest chance of accessing the admin area. 4. The plan (of course) is to come back stronger!! This is nowhere close to being the thing that finishes of the Paramotor Club. As you will have all noticed, ALL of the subscriptions for the VIP members have been cancelled. This is of course has the potential to cause issues in the longer term for events and such, and in the short term with things like the hosting billing and web site costs which I can cover. I will of course be asking everyone to re-subscribe (which anyone who is keen to help can do using the link below from now) Those that have recently subscribed, please still resubscribe and then if wanted please contact me for a refund for any outstanding months you have / had left. It's a little bit messy, but hopefully with enough support we will be back to normal sooner rather than later! Regarding the events: We have come up with a super cool idea which works well even during the restrictions. The plan is to come up with a couple more (although not sure how we will be able to better the current plan!!) but then run the events annually (as well as the fly-ins of course) More soon! Here is the link that I am sure you are all familiar with for the VIP membership. Thanks in advance to all who do Many thanks everyone!! SW
  5. Dear all, As has thankfully been guessed, my account was indeed hacked last night (we have now solved this problem of course) The Police are involved so I can't say too much more at this stage but please fear not and also!!! I am going nowhere and nor is the site!. So you can stay feeling happy, you should also know that the Club site does not hold ANY banking or personal information about you (thats WHY we use paypal) You honestly have nothing to worry about. I do of course need to suss out all of the cancelled subscriptions and how to rectify that. But I am confident. As I say, It's hard for me to say anything more about this at the moment but I will send out more info when I know I can. Once again, please do bear with me and I will pop out stronger! SW

  9. Hi Tim, and welcome to the Paramotor Club Im not sure if it's still the case that we are the closest Paramotor School but we regularly teach guys from all around Wales. We are on the M4 Nr Swindon. (about 1 hour 15 mins) Check out our training site: www.paramotortraining.com Again, welcome! SW
  10. That's the 'old school' way of learning. I would think that way over 50% of the people on here will NOT have learned to Para'glide' first. There is no need. Welcome to the Paramotor Club! SW
  11. Hi Mick, and welcome to the Paramotor Club! Your best bet is to log in and check out the members map (link below) https://www.paramotorclub.org/membermap/ There are LOADS of people on there who have added a rough location, you can contact those people by clicking the pins that are near you. It's also a good idea to add your own pin, that way others can contact you also Again, welcome! SW
  12. I am not the man for that job, but there are many in the club that are! Over the years we have seen a couple of DIY Paramotors which included, one with an NS125r engine which by all accounts worked amazingly well! My recommendation would be that you would be better off buying a 'restoration' type paramotor and mending it / restoring it. Either way, good luck and welcome to the Paramotor Club! SW
  13. https://www.paramotorclub.org/classifieds/ If you use the link above to list your item, it will automatically create a post here as well. Google loves the classifieds section!! SW
  14. Mr Mildew (who incidentally made no effort to hide his e-mail address or use a fake one) has left the building SW
  15. There are a couple of schools in NZ but the last time I was there they were using very old kit and I am not sure they are a dealer for any kit?? I may be wrong as its been a while. WELCOME TO THE PARAMOTOR CLUB https://www.wingsandwaves.co.nz/paramotoring SW
  16. I seem to remember it looking like some home made affair..?? @weesplat STILL HAS ONE in his garage so will be able to help SW
  17. Casey, We became dealers for the Paracell a year ago We are just about to order a couple for a TV show I am working on in the future. SW
  18. If you had used a rag before hitting that bend in the hook with your long nose pliers you would not have taken the paint off 'bloody butcher' lolol Fantastic ideal that I will implement. SW
  19. Hi Jamie, and welcome to the Paramotor Club Send @JayP a quick PM They have an active club in the area SW
  20. You are going to love me for this lolol Mod your Mr Funnel by adding a meter or so of silicone tube to the end That's what we use for the school machines and its soooo much nicer. SW
  21. The last Vitto Ti exhaust was junk I sold 'one' to a customer in 2018 who insisted on the Factory version, It has now been replaced thrice. (in a year or so) They make amazing engines but man... those exhausts!! I just don't get why the issues... there are thousands of higher performance 2 stroke engines out there without bushings that need replacing every 5 mins (OK not a mega drama to do, but why!!!) A friend has a 35 year old Yamaha RD500 which still has the original exhaust system and gaskets! (never removed as no need to) The Moster community seem to have been brainwashed to think its OK to have to change a gasket every 50 hours (actually it's way less in reality) Imagine if you had any other engine, even a lawn mower... that needed this, would you but it??? SW
  22. I once heard from a Moster wizard, tune the low jet until the engine vibration is minimal. Also, the adjustments on the low jet should be every so very tiny 1 min increments. That same wizard came to Membury one day and sorted out 5 machines doing exactly the above. SW
  23. I 3rd - 4th the above... Metering needle / float needle. Super simple and quick fix if you can find the part SW
