  1. I am keen to know your thoughts regarding trade stands at the Summer event. I keep getting asked by people and telling them I will get back to them (which of course I will) but keen to know your thoughts? As the people that attend, it will be this vote which decides for me SW
  2. As I am sure most of you are aware, the Paramotor Shop is now live. Keen to hear feedback We already have a good load more products to add after my shout out to suppliers comment in the last email, Wasp Paramotors, Alti-varios, flotation devices, EOS engines, ALL coming very soon Everyone has also been given an affiliate link for our training If your link is used to purchase our course in the shop, we will pay you £130. PM me if you want to know how to find those links Not long now #borechasers SW
  3. We are a little bit far away for you, but you do have some great schools up and around you. The most prominent are Airways Airsports at Darley Moor or Paul Haxby in Hull who I am sure will be happy to help you. Welcome to the Paramotor Club. SW
  4. No Trafford’s here in the UK also offer cover for Paramotors. And the PMC policy is likely to come back after Bexit also ‘underwritten by Lloyd’s again’ which of course is a British bank SW
  5. Reply from Sepp (slight language barrier) Hi Simon, Thx for your request - ll best at this stage and of course your policies are still valid in UK - also your . We’ll see what EU-UK negotiations will bring after 01.01.2021. I have been in an information event organised by Austrian Economy and Britisch embassy last autumn and I was told by UK administration to go on serving the UK air sports scene till we get further notice about new procedures. Also our license in UK to sell policies is valid till any other outcome in trade negotiations will be published. Thx for informing your colleagues and your flying scene about the circumstances - we are issuing new policies to UK citizens every day and hope to be able to go on for much longer! So please keep on promoting our service within your scene! END SW
  6. I just fired an email over to Sepp for clarification. SW
  7. I 'think' its basically done but remain a little confused about the new way the software works.. With it being a money thing I want to ensure that its 100% correct before allowing purchase, I am in a short cue of people who have asked for the same support. I wanted to get it done before the Bore chasers and that is still the case SW
  8. Guys and girls... Over the next couple of days, I will be going through the list and checking it against the list of full members. ( I did mention that this would be happening) Those who are not yet a full member will be removed from the RSVP list to allow room for those that are. There are a couple of ways to check if you are still a full member. 1. Your group name is on your profile page 'Members' means that you are currently not a full member. 'PMC Full Members' means that you are a full member 2. Check your paypal account for a payment. If you have paid £30 in the last 12 months you are a full member. 3. Please do those things before contacting me but if you are still unsure please do call and we can go through it. 4. Link below for those that need it. Many Thanks SW
  9. Personally, I think the value of having your training in the country that you live far outweighs the benefit of 'learning to fly in a week' while on holiday in weather conditions you will unlikely experience at home. Based where you are I would be looking at Airways or Hull Aeroclub Welcome to the Paramotor Club! SW
  10. In the order asked, Same wing and weight, the moster would be closer to 4. Noise level is around the same as a moster. You should have a go on the ATOM 80 as it may surprise you! (we have one here for people to fly) Yes my one is now sold for replacement in the summer. I am personally using the Atom at the moment and love it! SW
  11. A couple of free mods have been sent out to those who have had issues. Personally I have not had the issues from the outset. 75kg pilot on a 25 1.1 is a nat's hair over 3l per hour. Only that Moster have been taking the piss for the last 5 years lolol SW
  12. It's a fantastic engine, but I would still go for the 150 over the 100, you don't HAVE to use the power and the 150 is only 200gm more than the 100. Where about are you on the planet? SW
  13. Now available in the online shop: Micro Avionics Paramotor Headsets and accessories https://www.paramotorclub.org/store/category/24-microavionics/ SW
  14. Axa are doing it still mate. They also cover Tandem Paramotor SW
  15. Cas, that's exactly what I think is happening to those with ATOM issues. (time will tell I guess) SW
  16. Now available including a full range of spares. SW
  17. I have been flying the school machine all through the weekend and it has had no issues at all. All very bonkers. SW
  18. I am still convinced is something to do with the primer bulb myself. Back in the day, I had a RAD Paramotor lol yes I know.... But it did not have a primer bulb so I fitted on and the exact same problems happened. I took it back off and the problems went away. My guess is that it was acting as a very slight restrictor or needed a certain tiny amount of pressure before fuel would flow through it. I honestly don't know. I just know it worked then and the symptoms were identical It's not something I have heard about for about 15 years, but as soon as it popped into my head I convinced myself. SW
  19. Just for clarity. Carb Ice is more likely to happen in the summer months when the warm air contains more moisture. The cold does not directly effect carb icing. Cold air is dryer than warm air (think Freeze Dried) I am starting to wonder if the primer bulb may play a part in it. SW
