still not clear on the negative on the synth, when should it be used? takeoff?

so my synth is at reflex even when im on zero trim? if i go to the minus setting what will that do, will it be non reflex? what will minus trim do for me and my wing?

hi, thanks for the feedback, do either have automatic logging? ie it starts recording the distance / time moving when you set off, or do you manually have to start it?

Hi all, currently i am using a cheap altimeter watch that has other functions that i never use plus a garmin geko which is small and shows me the right data on one screen - time moving, speed, vertical speed and trip distance. Does anyone know of a watch / wrist unit that will do these things as well or better??

i have a new one waiting for fitting if you need me to take any readings from it, just tell me from where to where! it took me forever to get a reply from them, terrible customer service, but i did get the parts 3 months later! consider that if you can get one elsewhere!

regularly do 50/50 miles, but am limited by duration (i can only get 1hr 40mins max) need to loose a few pounds (or stone!!)

i agree with fanman. we are all fliers and its nice to see other people in the air, even if a little misguided plus helicopters do not need to stick to the low flying rules (you mentioned 500ft)

the OQO 01+, there is a better one out now, i dont know the spec, i just bought it because it looked good! bigger than a PDA, smaller than a laptop is there some paramotoring related software that i can use on it? then at least i will have a use for it, lol

its for a fly products power plus with an MZ34 engine on a 1:2.2

i want the best power from my "new" motor (im building a paramotor) it came from a fly products power plus (its an mz34) with a 1:2.2 ratio reduction, by my calculations the tip speed is slow (.56 mach) that seems a bit slow?? even if i up the prop size to a 130 it only goes up to .59 mach. My limited understanding is that it should be running at about .9

the manufacturer does not make the prop anymore (its an old motor) i wanted to get one that suits (48x29 with 17.1* @ 15" from center on a 1:3/4" thick, 6 hole 75mm spaced hub). I need to test the power of the motor (with that prop it should be about the same as my other motor), before i remove the engine and put it in a bigger frame and add a 130 prop. the 48x29 is just a stop gap

does anyone know a cheap prop manufacturer of distributor in the uk? manchester is ok, but do not have prop sizes, just models

i fly near a prison, i have given them my details but sometimes they call the police and i have been asked to land once, i do not fly over it, i just fly near it when i take off and land. there is no rule stopping me flying near the prison apart from the basic rules of not flying near people or structures etc (unless taking off or landing) you may also need to check NOTAMS for your area (see top of screen)
