it was definitely an irate adult and he definitely pointed the gun at me and gestured for me to leave - as i say, i think because of the crop circle.

im guessing that he was a pissed off farmer that either thought that i had created it or that i was bringing attention to it, either way its no excuse

i bought an ipad and use it daily, i do not have the 3g version just the plain old wifi. one thing that i have noticed is the amount of people saying "what are you going to use it for" or "what a waste of money". the thing is, i do not need it, i just wanted it. Like text messaging years ago, people (myself included) said 'who is going to use that". It seems to me that people want on but have to justify having one, and if they cant the react by criticising those that have bought one. i have to say that i use mine daily and its uses are only going to get better. its in my lounge as a photo frame between where my wife and i sit. you can pick it up at any time and browse the net while she (or me) are watching shite on telly and surf the net. I take it to bed and read many of the free books online (titles that you know) and you dont have to have the light on to piss your partner off, then there is BBC iplayer to watch telly whilst relaxing on the sun lounger by the pool in the garden, or if telly is not your thing read the independent, the mail the sun or whatever you read online FOC. in the garage i look at the how to guides online for stripping down or rebuilding something...... i could go on and on (i have a bit already, i know) but to me i feel that im using it more and more oh, and as for the iphone - i had one for a day and sold it (too brittle for me) however, the new bullet proof model is next on my list (when i upgrade). It is completely different and very much the same. Try surfing the web, reading or watching a film on the ipad compared to the iphone, the iphone is a great compromise because of its size Oh and then there is the ipad / laptop debate - its nothing like a laptop - dont even go there...

Hi, i was on a leisurely out and back flight the other night, i played with a balloon, then started heading back, on the return leg i noticed a crop circle and descended to look at it (i was at about 900 ft and descended to 500) whilst photographing the crop circle i saw someone in a nearby house pointing a gun at me, needless to say, i left the area pretty damn fast. i am in a dilemma, should i report it to the police and bring attention to paramotoring, which has the possibility of bad press or just let it go??

when are we off to shabbington then?

surely someone has looked into this??!! or am i going to have to pioneer the research ......

i actually had no trouble with the engine its self, but i would have a temp gauge to monitor it, from what i can tell its a simo clone? im 18 1/2 stone so had to keep the power on to fly straight and level (synth 34), i never used fast trim because the motor got too hot keeping it level

hmmmm, will i get more endurance on slow of fast trim?? thats to say, if im travelling out and back, will the extra ground covered make up for the extra fuel used to maintain straight and level flight at a faster trim setting. will the endurance be effected or will that be offset by better range? ...theres one to think about.....

i have to say - you are not wrong, its the loudest motor that i have heard!!

the older engine has (on mine) a sliver head, approx the same size as the fins on the cylinder, the new larger head is black and bigger (obviously), see picture Mine was always running at its max temperature so the better head would be an improvement, i believe it was introduced bacause of the overheating problem. i cant upload an image for some reason so here are some links to each one new head - http://www.flyengines.com/eng/f200.html old head - http://www.flyengines.com/img/service_plan_f200.jpg

just sold one, be careful and get the larger head version (it runs very hot), the silencer has also been upgraded

cant believe that you didnt swear, i would have over and over!!!!! the motor was tilted well back?? and i noticed someone overhead when the camera was picked up, you may have it from a third camera! i know its no consolation, but your not the only one doing it, ive broke a few cages/props myself...... more to come no doubt....
