  2. Has anyone had experience of both types? not sure which is better to go for, i want easy launches and comfortable flights, no weight shift turning, no aeros, plenty of cross country - opinions please

  7. Hello guys, im looking for a fresh breeze monster with comfort bar system. i am guessing the best bet is to but a second hand one, then fly it and get used to it before i buy new, that way i will see how reliable it is and how good the dealer backup is. So does anyone have one for me? i will travel anywhere in mainland UK to collect - bloody hell, that will be three motors that ive got, anyone want one, i need the cash!!!!
  8. thanks for the advice guys, i like the sportix but piers said that it would be running at the top of its range and to go for the monster, would you agree
  9. i have had enough of the poor quality service that i have had with my motor, i bought a second hand one, but that is a worry also... the time has come to upgrade my motor!! i have narrowed it down to 3 contenders pap fly 200, fresh breeze monster or a flat top evo. any idea which is best for spares backup, service (inc repairs) and actually answering a phone when you ring ??
  10. does anyone know where i can take my motor to get it running again?? its got a fly 200 engine

    power loss

the stator was broken after a prop strike, this was unkown at the time and started to disintegrate as bits of the magnet ground away at it. this has all now been rectified, i think its a timing issue, but have no way of adjusting it...

    Timing

i think the timing is out on my paramotor after changing the magneto (stator and magnet housing). The stator is non adjustable, and the magnet housing is on a keyway. the motor just backfires any idea what i do??

    power loss

can anyone help me?? my last flight was early October last year, i was buzzing around and i started noticing a power loss, it was small but seemed to be getting worse, i managed to limp back to base and when i landed i noticed metal filings on the cylinder head, i traced these to a damaged magneto which i have now replaced. I went to fly today after fitting it (im 100% sure the wires are correct) and the motor turns over and tries to fire but doesn't, it did backfire once or twice. there is pressure from the exhaust, fuel in the cylinder and a spark at the plug - im confused?? is it because its been standing so long or something i have done? is it related to the power loss last flight? any help would be appreciated bloody thing, its great out there today as well!!

  19. if its any help, im 18 1/2 stone "in me pants" let alone clip in weight, i fly a dudek synthesis relex wing (size 34), and have flown a simonini engine, f200 engine and a hirth engine all with 125/130 props and i get into the air with a 6mph breeze, within about 20ft from full power if thats any help... oh, and the synthesis wing is great, it never overshoots and i cruise at 30mph (airspeed) with the trimmers in! im sure others will give you more advice than i can!
  20. just think about it like this - there are more regular checks on a "real" plane, it is more tightly controlled as to quality and the piulots undergo FAR more training, and retraining, you should be scared the other way round!!

    GPS watches

doc, i think they are on differnt screens, but you can switch between them, on "activity" screen you can have height, speed and time elapsed, but you also have the track back function
  22. no, on mine the trimmers go from -2(or3?) past zero up to what ever
