a bit late, but....... i now have a suunto x10 - great bit of kit, but maybe out of your budget? but before that i had the perfect solution (for me anyway!) in the garmin geko - it has a configurable screen to select the parameters that you want to display (speed, height, heading etc) AND it starts automatically when you start moving! how good is that if you have failed launches and forget to reset, lol to top it off you can download straight onto google earth (or is that my x10 which definitely can) so that you can see your track - which by the way is good to keep incase you are reported for being somewhere that you shouldnt (ie built up area)

i have a fresh breeze monster and it comes with a kick in strap as standard, look it up on the net - i find it hard without the strap, but my last 2 motors were easy without it....

i just looked at colchester barracks on google maps, if it was me i would find another site as its too central to the town, more chance of being reported / bad press, especially if anything falls off! and strickly speaking its all a built up area

show us a link to it on google earth or maps, you shouldn,t fly over buildings (a collection of), but if you are taking off or landing......... if its not notified or on an air map then how would you know if you were passing through?? i have a similar situation with a prison, i do a tight turn as soon as im airbourne and keep all flight logs on google earth just incase i ever get pulled

hi, i have a fresh breeze with comfort bar, the fresh breeze is a fantastic motor with excellent support, i will never buy anything else....

i give up, surfing and consuming media is what the masses do on a PC, hence the market for the iPad, but your are right and i am wrong, your superior knowledge wins over (even though you dont own one)

i had the same problem, and i will always tell everyone who with - walkerjet - 3 months and threats of court action for parts, the the issues over waranty (yeah right, what waranty), that way hopefully they will go under and the better manufacturers will survive However After asking around i eventually bought a nice new Fresh Breeze Monster, and i have to say that Piers (fresh breeze dealer in uk) has been fantastic, the motor is reliable (touch wood) and i do not have to worry about it, any parts sent have arrived the same week (i had an issue with the silencer wrap and was sent silicone sealer and tape the same day, and didnt expect it) i had a spring come loose in the started and recieved a new one the same week - all i asked was how to get it back in. So i would say that not all dealers are the same, however there are some bad ones out there i did ask for a rating page so that we could rate our experiences with each dealer but it seems that its not workable, we do need something to make them accountable

ha, bloody ha!! Im planning on flying over tonight (friday) might land, might not........ (depends if i feel up to falling on my face/arse in public) then drive over tomorrow as i dont like flying in thermals (i havent done it yet!)
