You then pop the follwing to the start and end but replace the brackets with the square ones; (img)www.webhosting.com/picture1.jpg(/img) Don't forget to change the () with [].   6. I'll have a look into PTT for the iPhone. I have a couple of apps that are pretty useful for those interested; AeroWeather - Get current and precise weather conditions (METAR) as well as weather forecasts (TAF), which are used by pilots for their flight preparations. You can choose worldwide airport weather stations from the built-in database by either name or ICAO code. Data will be shown in its original format or fully decoded into easy understandable texts. Available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian. Tracklog - TrackLog is designed for the use in the cockpit of a glider doing cross country flights. The application can do the following tasks: Log the flight path of your flight. Transmit the logger data to the internet for live tracking. Use the iPhone as a communicator with prepared location messages for information or in case of an emergency. Moving map. Flight data display. A passiv Emergency Location Transmitter. TrackLog could be used for: Gliding championships. Live tracking of cross country flights. Surveillance of student pilots by the instructor. Aircraft surveillance in flying clubs. Helps rescue crews to locate you in case of emergency. Inform your ground crew and friends with googlemap emails. As far as I am aware, and it's only hear-say but the next version of google earth for the iphone will allow vector overlays and you will be able to import/export .kml files

  9. I keep telling you Ed, YOU are on the darkside!!!! I did do some quick designs for 2010 and as standard club shirts. Think I still have them, 2 secs... They won't be to everybodies taste, but hey ho. Think it was the best we had at the time Ben
  10. I have to agree with Wodens on this one Leo, you do ask the same questions over and over again. Not just on this forum, but others as well. I think just like anything else, there are various ways and means of achieving a goal. SCUBA diving, you can go PADi or the alternative. Shooting, you can go BASC or CA. For obvious reasons there is never just one choice on how to train for something (generally anyway). Think of it this way Leo. If you want an extension on your house, you get a few quotes, meet a few tradesman and make your decision that way (I'd hope you don't just take the first that comes along - unless recommended of course). You then need to factor in things like cost, general feelings on meeting the tradesman, seeing a portfolio or existing work. These are personal things that only you can decide with. Ultimately, the decision is yours. In a sport with various routes, only you can choose which road to go down as it is based purely on personal judegment (for want of a better word). Asking the same question over and over isn't helping you. Get out there, meet your BHPA guys and talk to them, see them in action. Then go see Simon and the other instructors at Lambourne and the PMC, talk to them, see how they operate. Factor in everything and you will end up with a decision. We can't make your mind up for you. Obviously, you ask a hardened BHPA member - they will say BHPA is the only route to take (otherwise they'll be going it on their own). You ask Simon, Norman or anybody else PMC and they will be a tad biased just the same. Similarily, you go to one part of Glasgow and say who should I support - they will say...RANGERS. If you go to the other side and ask, CELTIC would be the reply.
  11. Ouch, glad you're ok Malcs. I have that voice in my head about a lot of things... Do you think there was a bit of the venturi effect going on through that gap too? Head says bad set of conditions, ego says family is watching Been there, done that...but I was solo climbing and more that 30ft up. I actually had a little bit of a squitter come out and say hi that day! I'm not sure how you actually missed the marshmellow man either...

  17. I can vouch for these guys, lots of ground handling pays the dividends. I think i've even heard our own Mr Westmore say that their groundhandling time is obvious! Grab yourself a wing, find a field and practice practicr practice!
