  1. Hi Ivan, i hadn't realized until i reread your 1st posting about the S-type titanium horns being offset, So i take it the Cross Bar Weight Shift System is more for finer adjustment suited to each individual wing if needed, and the dimension on the arms i was looking for was more at the cross bar end please ?.
  2. I have 1 of these but not fitted to new motor yet but they only get good reviews http://www.routoutcnc.com/fuelgauge.html, just takes a little time to set accurately after a few flights to get to know fuel burn rate.
  3. Ivan with the Moster engine fitted with Anti clockwise prop rotation, do i take it it was ordered with said engine and apart from the Arm moveable bar system are the bars offset also?, and if not is the bar offset further towards the lefty side please ? And can you tell me Arm to arm centre dimension across please ?
  4. Curious here as to if Simon has had you trusting the thrust with motor on your back whilst walking forward ?, and you really need to learn to feel the wing and not look up as that slows your forward movement, but overall you're doing very well and i'm pretty sure you'll be flying soon.
  5. Morgy do you mean hand bend or actual crash bending ?
  6. Well i have now flown this Paramotor in front of my trainer, all i'll say is take of was flawless and left ground very quickly played around flying for 45 minutes, then i made the mistake of trying to land which didn't go to plan, gliding in lovely about to round out before flare and BIG oops was idling but pulled throttle same time (Dohh), only positive (according to trainer) was i lifted me legs up out of the way, as he said broken bones would of been the result, So crash landed fast and hard left corner which twisted frame (Titanium bends) but prop rotation then ploughed through netting and 1 spar, then clipped rear down tube and inbedded itself halfway thru petrol tank, which sustained 2 small holes and compressed to half size, the prop shattered and finished considerably shorter than started with, laughed it off as normal and thanked frame for taking the shock as i got up without a single scratch, just needing to buy a few spares. Forgot to take before picture but frame was a bit of a mess but my friend Deano and i have heated it up here and there and straightened it out, and tomorrow putting motor back onto it and getting throttle and wires all clipped up again. Feel free to comment how you see fit heard most of the Know it all comments on faceache, didn't have to post up but want everybody to see what we go thru and IMO lucky escape and hopefully learnt by my mistakes. And heres how the frame now looks again. Glad i have a Titanium frame and if you watch Air conceptions Video you'll see how bad these frames can get and can be made flyable again.
  7. As title folks what have you got tucked in the garage or shed, might not get used but trying to cover all options, And if it does it'll be housing a MV1 or commonly known Titan 3.0 190 clutched engine TIA Dave.
  8. Depend what the prop strikes ?, might only have to replace prop if you only clip the ground, common cause people trying to sit down to early when taking off. If prop strikes cage and netting might be possible to repair or need replacement parts. Wooden prop's more accident friendly yes they hurt but splinter and break in most cases causing less damage, carbon props shred and splinter but keep cutting IMO.
  9. 1 of the Martin's who comes to Winglands flies an Epsilon (possibly a 5), it Launches very easily but you'll be glad you didn't as yes it's stable but extremely sllooowwwww (flying Sofa). So you chose a wise decision. Just clicked you bought Matt's Revo 2.
  10. But going by your top picture you have all wires connected to the relay and none on Reg so might be AL14 Reg bottom right wire number 22+60(22 fuse 60 On-Off swich.
  11. Tony not home currently but if you enlarge picture would it be Wires 28 28, 1 coming from AL23 earth + 1 coming from Dem5 Battery going to connection 2 on Dem19 relay.
  12. Facebook under "Yorkshire paramotors training & sales"
  13. Tony very sorry didn't post picture as when i uncovered Paramotor and looked , only to discover all my wires are black so it would be pre use of coloured wires on their harnesses .
  14. Found it might help
  15. Tony ifits the same as my A4 i'll try remember take a photo tomorrow afternoon and post it up. i do have the wiring diagram but not sure if that helps establish colours.
  16. That's Danny yes he makes his own paramotors and he even made a harness, but if you ever meet him he's only about 4.5 feet tall and ways about 6 stone when wet thru , he flies from a few fields we go to and he such a character, No helmet got a Turban instead.
  17. deja vu comes to mind Tony only because last year i had arranged to go sat + sun and bloody health let me down, so i'm not planning to go this year but don't be surprised if i pop over for the Saturday and possibly stay for the Sunday also
  18. Is this a typo or are you going non powered 1st ? And from somebody who GH'd 1st do Not! as your trainer will ignore it and teach you the best and easiest way, that's why they teach and we learn, patience is your friend in this sport .
  19. Tony i feel the same as there's always somebody worse off than me. andyb i got a windsock and its a Hobbyking jobbie. Hopefully by the end of this week my HE paramotor will be totally modified by me to the safety limit i expect. Now having noticed i started over a year ago i'm more determined to be flying in front of my trainer before end of next month and become CP qualified before end of year.
  20. New improved design now with extended netting and throttle cable refitted, forgot going to fit webbing on both sides of engine AV rubber's in case they come apart,
  21. Look who's back yes i am yes i am , well after struggling with my Paramotor do to its weight and not liking the Bulldog either, i have acquired a 1 year old low hours Paramotor (185cc Titanium frame) so weight now not so much of an issue, but in my true to nature ways it came to bits, didn't like the frame fit as previous owner had taken a bad tumble and bent outer frame hoop, plus wasn't happy with lack of alignment on throttle cable, but after dismantling carb spacer and milling that down and machining cable end brass housing it now all lines up true, i know i have the tools and ability so i did, and then also i reshaped the outer ring to exact roundness and it goes on + off as should, only last thing is 2 small electrical spades to go onto stop button. Also forgot its had full service including renewed fuel pipes and electrical wire lines, but wires only got done as throttle cable was 12" to long so had to shorten it, also changed carbon props for wooden and extended netting inwards to close side and top gaps. Disappointed as going to Winglands Airfield tomorrow and would of been nice to possibly take it and fly it, but will be taking it for hang test to get angle of the dangle correct so onwards and soon upwards. Fly free but be safe
  22. Somewhere on Tinternet there's a clip of how a paramotorist made a clip over net using flexible pipe and standard netting but haven't got it to hand.
  23. Neilzy yow ferka i got all excited looked them up thinking Garboldisham only 10 minutes down road from me , but they may of moved as now located at Grundisburgh which is about 1hr away from me , but probably just contact them and order for delivery, so thanks good info .
  24. Hi, As title suggests looking to replace my engine rubbers yes i know they're readily available on Egay, but looking more for recommendation's for companies from people who have replaced them before. Not really looking at heavy duty as i think that will enhance the vibrations so more for durability if possible, and please do not say the manufacture of the Paramotor as IMO the OEM ones are much to long, my machine has only approx 30hrs use and they have dropped already so thats the reason for changing them TIA Kiwi.
  25. Or Fresh breeze uk message them or phone as i think they can still get some spares for the Solo.
