  1. There was a nice gentleman on here who could get Solo parts sent over.
  2. Sorry Andy missed this Leave it with me as i need to confirm the exact process with my mate as he's the 1 who attaches it his mini dyno and knows the calculation formula on how to work it out.
  3. Sorry Mike hadn't seen this, but your not far off i have done several tests on my A4, and my findings are it produces about 17.6 hp as opposed to the lesser F models with 13.6 hp.
  4. Casper before i bought it seller told me it was getting slow on turn over but was still starting, turned out to be burnt out brushes and torched winding's, i have 2 sets of Props 125 & 130 cms both carbon i think original was 130cm. Yours has box muffler and mine being an A4 has Solo + engine which is Larger skimmed head and tuned expansion design exhaust. The cage swap is what i'd been told but i did fit an extra external ally tube over the bottom for more skid protection to increase damage resistance.
  5. Mark are you trained or training ?, and with the motors your looking at weight wise you'll be on full throttle most of the time, so machine reliability could be a problem, and if your flying with friends you could possibly be struggling to keep up.
  6. Caper i'm 92 kg's and mine has flown me easy (but its an A4), and nothing wrong with weld's as you suggest, also very easy to break down to fit into saloon car. The weakest part i'm told is the original aluminium cages as thin material used, but thankfully in my short use never crash landed so no remedial work required, most replaced the cages with the Nirvana cages as they were stronger and direct fit, today's models run very different engines so possibly lighter and more reliable. Only part i have replaced is a starter motor as mine is electric start only, and several have commented its probably the best Adventure they have seen and heard, as mine start's almost instantly and is very clean.
  7. Mark its a pity your not closer to me as you could try my Adventure A4, they are heavier and less performance compared to upto date paramotors, but they are pretty strong motor wise and i found excellent starting out equipment , i have only stopped using mine do to health needing lighter motor. The A's are better than the F's as they are the tuned engine version's.
  8. Depending on where your located i'd go do a hang test with an official trainer, Mike Chilvers (Chilly) at ufly4fun is thru and thru Bulldog man and could adjust your harness to be right, as several at spalding fly with Bulldogs and a couple taller that you, and to my knowledge not 1 of them has any trouble getting into the seat. Should say pilots of all shapes and sizes aswell.
  9. Katie well done for taking the sport up, and the more you practice the easier it becomes and you are doing A Ok, the biggest problem in training is addiction and frustration as you know what you need, or want to do and the weather doesn't always play ball. It takes time but the end result will be worth it.
  10. Yes Sorry to the ones who are following i have been very docile lately, I did carry on with training when allowed last year, but from having cancer and heart problems i do this when i can or feel healthy enough too plus i do also still have a 4 day Job. End result towards later part last year was with the Motor i bought if i did not launch on 1st attempt i had to rest as knee's couldn't hold weight, (No i'm not turning to trike just yet), whole point of this is so i foot launch for as long as possible. So jump to this year and as we all know not been many flying days, plus i'm now only just getting thru reoccurring heart problems, but hopefully Doctors are now on top of that . And so this afternoon i'm going to try do some kiting to see how my health holds up and how long i can ?, i have however stalled from getting my wing serviced for now as big possibility i'll get a newer 1 after iv'e bought new to me Paramotor. So hopefully new year and on with the task in hand, and i have vowed to legally get Airborne this year. And Ahmed go to a training school 1st if possible saves a lot of aggro and possible bad habits.
  11. Its with Sad news Jock aka Paul Kilbourn from Manchester Paragliding has tragically died while Paramotoring, i know several of you on here will know him, thats all i'm saying as not 100% sure about the accident. Rip Paul fly free and condolences to Lisa and the family.
  12. Wing make and size might help in resolving problem or even a video if possible,
  13. if your looking for line plan or table http://www.sky-cz.com/FileShare/soubory-ve-skladu/download/5868-Cima_lineplan&linelist.pdf
  14. Well done Sandy did you buy the Uni 1.1 ?, and the saying is "better to be on the ground wishing you were flying, than be flying wishing you were on the ground" they'll always be another day,
  15. Like Andy says 185 up engines give plenty of thrust, but are you a fit youngster who can carry a paramotor on his back for long periods, which means you could go for a slighter heavier robust machine to take knocks, or are you a fragile older person who'd benefit from a lighter machine which possibly will need more expensive repairs, or you may be a gifted flyer and pick up the sport instantly, if possibly get to know more pilots in your area and have a chat and feel different motors to see if there's a trend, or a better make and model that suits you.
  16. Hi Joel, Welcome and there's several of us in East Anglia , and for Training look up "uflyforfun" Chilly (Mike) is highly recommended and if you about tomorrow a few of us going to Wingland (Gedney Drove End) and you can see and talk to fellow paramotorists. you can PM me if you are interested Kiwi.
  17. Mr Jones there's heavier pilots than you flying, but yes you'll need a large wing and probably burn more fuel than the average person, also take a little further to take-off and climb a fraction slower , but nothing's stopping you from flying a Paramotor.
  18. I know i'll get shot from him , but if the trainee pilot was radio linked to the instructor i blame the instructor, and as for different next time several different things.
  19. I'd forgotten that Si but if i remember rightly little Col was looking to sell complete, but would,'t harm a quick message , thx.
  20. Hi, could be a big ask but anybody got or know somebody who possibly has a large or XL harness for sale ?? Please, but must be able to fit An adventure or Nirvana rodeo paramotor ,
