  1. You could try DT propellers http://www.dtpropeller.com/en for a shipped price.
  2. Andy your probably in the Minority most of us do not spend more than 2 months flying abroad so BHPA is fine
  3. The other week there was 11 of us flying of which 4 are scared of heights, And most admit they are only frightened until they're feet leave the ground and sitting in the seat properly, So No big problem and you'll be glad you did it. Dependent on previous experience (Not directed at you GB007) but BHPA have an alternative entry basis, yes you need to show handling and basic knowledge of understanding thermals and weather conditions.
  4. Training could also depend on who you are close to and how far you'll travel?, as legally you do not need training but i would advise for it,
  5. Most fliers i know who had Uni's all moved up to the Reportair xc's and agility is what they were made for and are rock steady. plus on Facebook group. Dudek Report-Air Paramotor Wing £2,200 King's Lynn, Norfolk Dudek Report-Air Paramotor Wing In size 24 and in Earth colours. Weight range 95-130kg Only 55 hours and all the stuff you get with a new wing including Rosette Bag, stuff sack, riser bag, Motobag rucksack, strap, speed bar, windsock, and log book with spare line, repair tape etc. The Report Air in my opinion is one of the best wings I’ve flown. With great stability and economy for those long XC flights, but no slouch when it comes to turning. Easy to launch and land. Superb wing and only selling as I have another new one in custom colours. These wings are £3,225 new so grab a good low hours one for only £2,200 ono. Message me, Mike Chilvers or text 0778554437 (Big possibility this will be removed soon as currently 2 people interested in it) Just so you aware his is Not my wing
  6. if your on facebook message Andy shaw (green dragons hang gliding and paragliding) their in Surrey, he's normally got some purely for GH'ing
  7. Says the Man who use to squash all his flying gear into a Triumph spitfire at times .
  8. also spotted there's a Roadster 2 28mtr on skyads at good price.
  9. Not mine but cheap enough plus depends on your experience https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ITV-Dakota-Sport-XL-Paramotor-Wing-Dudek-Gin/273542977055?hash=item3fb06e961f:g:UDoAAOSw7pZbaD8Y:rk:37:pf:0
  10. Now shared to "UK Paramotor group" on Faceache
  11. My thoughts would be fuel issue or carburetor setting.
  12. what oil you using? and go remove plug and chuck it away, buy a NGK Iridium BR9EIX and fit that. And whats your starting order ?
  13. IMO For GH'ing the smaller the better as it sharpens up your reactions, plus you can kite in stronger winds which gives more practicing days at the beginning when learning. Then when more confident and getting to grips with Wing handling, yes kite your Flying wing as you learn its characteristics and how it feels and input needed.
  14. Like Steve said get to know local area pilots go have a chat, and they might give you a few tips and pointers, but IMO i wouldn't advise GH'ing without training as it's easy to get annoyed/injured when doing it wrong, Where abouts you live might be someone on here local who could help you a little.
  15. Andy constructive criticism is always welcomed that's more my point for posting. It was mentioned about seat and body position on that landing, and we have a cunning plan for next flight, each flight i alter something in my thought process and each time landings are improving considerable, this time was to land and not arrive at full throttle straight into the ground (Oops), i thought it was funny but newbie trainee's at the field got a little worried. Train of thought is already thinking on next landing to be upright and 2 feet in contact and nothing else.
  16. Yesterday evening flight with an almost landing but definitely best so far, analysis we decided flared just a tad to high resulting in a drop bump arrival Kiwi Lands.mov
  17. Yesterday was an unusual day attended Wingland fly-in in aid of Air ambulance, parawaited all day, a few newbies were kiting on Airfield (rather entertaining ) i'd forgotten how funny it is to have brain overload, You know what your mean't to be doing and we keep instructing them and advising them but they No risten (we've all been there). 11 of us fearless pilots took to the Sky early evening, piss taking on my launch just reversed and waited because i could (10mph wind), added throttle then about 3 steps up up and away, i was flying beside Mike with communication little bumpy on climbing but silky smooth at 700+, just plodding into wind slowly and we could see a liitle way in front traffic on A17 then stopping, we lowered to 500ft and we could just see new shape Land rover upside down in ditch with jackknifed trailer, Thinking the worst outcome we thought if Air Ambulance is needed we're in the way so headed back to land, well i say land but gusts had picked up and getting back past airfield for approach didn't take long, 200ft trying to descend was like a roller coaster ride left right left right up down down up, to say the least i of many apparently was entertaining to watch trying to land, even the more experienced pilots had to actively work at it, couple more had to land after me and it was extremely funny. So best part of all after i landed i'll let the picture tell you and i know you'll get it right Should also say yes i bent the Titanium frame again slightly and little tap with rubber mallet it'll be straight again
  18. Pat looks like you lot are making it a regular 7 monthly event
  19. Box emptied and not a single part out of it used to repair my Paramotor, but now i have spares for a possible on site repair if it can be done. "Phoenix" as i have now named it as from earlier today is looking ready to fly once more with a few more added improvements.
  20. After numerous talks between H&E direct and myself this box of spares left Spain last Thursday and arrived today , i say spares as only 3 parts being used from it now, as have repaired most including the shortened petrol tank, but at least in a couple days it will rise from the ashes again, and that's a bonus as attending a Fly-In this weekend
