  1. Like Pete says when/if you deploy the chute the Shock thru the fixings is extreme, so personally i'd want Maillons and Not Karabiners at the pull force is greater
  2. Hi, the r120 fits your weight ( 75 to 94 kilos) but as for the wing i'm not sure but i'm sure somebody will be along shortly to say Yes or No, all i know is you can go safely 10% over max weight
  3. Jo, i'm in similar situation as you with training but can't start it til my knees get a little bit better then i'll be with Mike , for the other it's like mike will tell you weather dependent but i'll send you my number and we'll go from there
  4. Jo i have a ground wing you can try kiting if you like, as that's a big part of the training and i'm only 20 mins down road from you
  5. Hi Jo, got to be Chilly in this area Norfolk & South Lincolnshire branch of the Paramotor Club.org - See http://www.ufly4fun.com for training info and venues. Contact Mike for any info. Cheers Mike Chilvers C.F.I Ufly4fun Paramotor Club 07785 544378 http://www.ufly4fun.com
  6. mjmac do you have a picture of your pulley set-up or can you confirm the make + model of your paramotor ?
  7. Hi, on my solo when i bought it had a 12v 2.9ah lead battery, but since fitting a new starter even with jump leads it seems not to wind over the starter, but now i have a coil problem (new 1 ordered) so nothing works at present, but i'm still in 2 minds to convert over to 18v li-ion or ni cad batteries as should start easier will also save weight.
  8. Also if fitting the exhaust you may need to know that the tuned versions of the 210 have a different head and carburetor, i'm sure if you do get a tuned exhaust the difference when fitted will be minimal.
  9. Mr Curious here ak do you know what type of aircraft it was ?, drone, paramotor or something else ?, i personally have not started training but do know from local maps and charts know what days and the No go zone from my local airfield.
  10. If its an exhaust you're looking for just post in wanted section ?
  11. Hi and welcome, try fresh breeze uk they seem to have most parts or can get them reasonably quick
  12. Having 4 wires i'd think 2 go to coil and 2 go to ignition module, but have you tried asking Walkerjet ? they would be most likeliest people to know.
  13. watch but freeze at 00.29 you can see a ggod view of all components but alloy spacer looks different to yours.
  14. I would think black gasket between head and Nylon block and o ring seal side to ally spacer, but probably best to use a little not setting sealant as air leaks will result in inconsistent fuel mixture. Does picture this help ?
  15. Glad you shared Si it something a lot of people probably would over look and not even think about but thankfully nobody got hurt !!
  16. Miniwing, did you get the manifold sorted ?, if not just let me know as i can make you one in delrin (or aluminium) would take upto 2 weeks as i'd probably have to get materials in ? Kiwi.
  17. I'm with Rab i'd say Spain more scenery OK I've now had time to study Si's pictures and either will do me Health + work leave permitting
  18. Also used by Vittorazzi, Minari, Corsair, Simonini plus Hurth took over Solo engines. My Solo has a tillotson carb but i'm sure several upgraded from the 32 to the 37 as 32 was to small and didn't supply enough fuel under load.
  19. Paul which part of country you located in might be someone closer to advise and help you ?, Just saying as you sound like your a little unsure as to practical side of modification your looking to do !
  20. By doing this you are possibly relocating the handle further out which in turn will load up the spring, which is not a good idea as will lead to premature failure, You still need to keep the starter under same spring tension but move handle up for easy reach, i understand exactly what you are trying to achieve but IMO you will need to buy a longer pull cord, also buy and fix a pulley wheel to your frame as pictured above, its easy to do you just need to work out total lengths required and buy necessary materials. Hopefully this helps and you understand what i'm saying
  21. Si i know Pete personally and he's as mad as a box of frogs, but he excels in engineering and he will take his time but he will deffo finish this 1 day
