    There has been an ongoing debate on the yahoo groups about the accuracy of cheap flow meters and the results given when our engines are on tickover/low revs! It still rages on.... If you want gadgets, get a cht/rev counter, or egt. Polini make the neatest one I have seen so far.....pricey though!

    Been discussed many times geoff! Best/cheapest gauge is the convex mirror on lanyard. Never goes wrong!, T/tach do have a uk distributor, but you could also try fleabay. I did put some links up on a previous thread with other options. It was on phil1975's thread I think?

    LOL! But I cannot help thinking, if something drastically went wrong, would there be enough time for a reserve toss and would the peir be the landing 'stage'? Guess I worry too much in me old age......

    As a guess Mal, if there were no remains of grease in the box, then possibly stick with oil. Maybe an EP 80 or 90 grade? Personally, I would rather have oil in the box than grease, as it will always be in contact with the gears when moving. Whereas grease will get slung to the side of the casings and just sit there. Just guesses on my behalf as I use a constant drive 'blades of death' machine....

    Get DMWood on board, he's absolutely minted!! In fact, he may buy the field for us....... Don't mind paying a bit more, just so long as we do not have the same mess about that happened this year! I will have some time available this week, so will be up on Haze's roof and could then pop down to do some cutting as well if you want Mark? Could bring trailer for the ride on mower as well.

    Had a spare day or so, and went up to Simon at membury. If I ever get to a fly-in, I'll bring pies......... Just got back after a 6 hour drive down from Carfest, knackered aint the word!!

    Currently at Chris Evans Carfest, in Charmondeley Castle!! Pies for the masses. By monday, would have made and sold over 35,000 pies in 3 weeks! I need a holiday....
