Ahh, "sels pg" means "Paragliding at Selsley Common" NOT "Selling a paraglider"..... My telepathy link must be down again.......... Will be resting for a bit as 15.4 hours flying on the motor since 21st until Wednesday evening. Blowy here at the moment anyway. Richard

    Good shot of the Castle Moreton car park Mike. Is that the new reserve arrangement in front, or just the PG setup? Have a good one today, I'm still nursing the knees after 4 long runs down my field on Wednesday. Richard

    Cracking shot Jock. Glad you both had some good flights. It was fairly thermic mid afternoon but not fantastic as I couldn't get to base, as I have done earlier in the year. Gained about 900ft at a maximum climb and that took quite a while (cage drags 15/20 glide points away and possibly 2 or 3 min sink points). I'll have to wait until they get the Malvern chairlift operating, before I'll be able to get up Castle Moreton! Richard ps - should be taking aerial pics soon as it's getting warmer to allow operating the camera without gloves.....

    A bostin afternoon in the thermals, right up to 5pm. 1hr32m & 1hr38m. Nearly gave up after 2 attempted launches in the nil wind, but glad it didn't get to me. Ice pack on the right knee, sorted! Richard ps - new Airking prop worked well.

    Wind looking very south for the Beacon on Wednesday. Might be better for Bache, or Gyrn Moelfre. RASP not particularly thermic, but hopeful. Hook will be fine for getting some hours in (low winds), but a good s/h ENC would be better. I'll keep my eyes open. Richard

    Flew the dunes (PG) on the southern tip of the island in 1998 (SW facing). Managed a massive 23 minutes of soaring until the wind died, according to my log book. Easy launch and land from memory. Take an old wing and watch out for the sand in the trailing edge. Richard

    Nice screen grabs again Mike, considering the conditions. Great fun seeing the river lodge with the word A*SE written on its roof!! Would be good to fly the place with a bit of decent viz in the summer. Worst viz day out of Sun/Mon/Tue this week, but nice to fly a pretty place, Great stuff. Richard
