  1. Hi Stu. Great grabbed stills there. How and or where did you mount the GoPro? As you got the motor sport version and not the Helmet version? Cheers Mikey
  2. Also if you fall forward on the flat top, the comfort bars will stop you getting face planted. Also the netting is the strongest out there, made of Kevlar I think. Its part of the structure. The cage has zero flex. Underneath is a designed crumple zone. In case of a hard landing. Quick release strap system. Etc... Mikey
  3. Good point about where the prop is with relationship to the netting. I guess a design with both cage fully covering the prop and the prop far from fingers is the way to go. With small enough netting so that a hand or fingers cant get to the prop! What if the second hoop on the flat top was extended a bit further back, so it covered the prop? The flat top is still the safest unit out there though. Mikey
  4. Custom Air Cruiser...... Also has quick release tank! And I dont know of anyone who has broke a prop on one either, as its not sticking out the back of the cage a couple of inches.....lol Mikey
  5. I have a Custom Air cruiser. Good Points. Lots of power, deeper sound than most other 2 strokes. Strong good frame and cage, made of Titanium. Prop is fully encased by cage and not sticking out at the rear! Very strong netting on cage, which is good for beginners. Nice throttle. Parts easy to get as its English made. Lipo Battery option! (less than 300grams) Bad points. Cage does not fully collapse down, but still esay to get into any Hatch Back. I noticed both Parajet owners did'nt put in any bad points. So I will. Parajet Bad Points. Can be Heavy Many people dont like the throttle. No Netting (finally an option) I do like the Parajets a lot though..... Would be my second choice! Just my opinion! Cheers Mikey
  6. Hi Nice one, great site. Typo replace "the" with "that" under Filming and Photography on the About Simon Page. Whole site looks very professional to me well done Simon! Mikey
  7. I agree the Fusion must not have the speed bar on when in Paraglider mode. (Trims fully in). But it has been flown spectacularly in Paragliding mode. Heres the link. [youtubevideo] [/youtubevideo]Cheers Mikey
  8. My Grandad died a few weeks ago! It was a massive overdose of Viagra! 2 weeks later they are still trying to get the coffin lid on!
  9. Yes, I could not seee the Malverns as it was covered in fog. I chose not to go any where near it. I gather he took off with very poor visability....... Not good. So what does VMC mean again.............. Hmmmmmm Cheers Mikey
  10. Great, I have just got my Paramania Fusion delivered, looking forward to trying it out for the first time. C U There. Mikey
  11. Hi Jock, what time you planning on getting there?
  12. I had a less severe version of your problem on a Parajet. Mine was caused by dirt in the carb. It would stay in the lower areas of the carb filter, and then on running and continuoius high vibration (take off) it moved and blocked the main jet. A good clean of the carb filter mesh cured it for me. Cheers Mikey..
  13. Well as far as safety goes, this might be controversial but I guess the fixed bars like on the flatop would be safest. There have been reports of problems with the moving arm types and also the over the shoulder high hang points. They all have secondary safety attachment systems to the harness etc, but even this might cause a spiral if set up badly. That’s just my opinion, maybe some of the higher flight time guys have some more imput? Cheers Mikey
  14. Hi Jock, would love to, but I am working in the Czech Republic until Friday. Hope to catch you when I get back. Best luck with the new motor. Mikey
  15. Hi Jock. I am around on thursday. If you like, I can come and video for you? Cheers Mikey

  17. If your Laptop has a display of 1920 x 1080 or higher then it can play full HD. Many 17" Laptops can have such a display. My old dell has a 1920 x 1200 and so does my Macbook Pro. Cheers Mike

  19. here is an answer to an email I sent to Paul at AXB Sports. From: Mikey To: 'Paul Haxby' Hi Paul. Very interesting..... I am sure you will get a lot of questions regarding this. Here are mine please. 1) What is the dry weight, all up less fuel? 2) How tall is the unit from the floor? 3) Will there be a low hang point version? 4) How much static thrust? 5) CC size of the 4 stroke engine. 6) When will they be ready for sale (including low hang point version if offered)? 7) Fuel consumption rate - average? Cheers. Mikey Hi Mike, Here are the answers to your questions: 1. Slightly heavier than a Bailey 4 stoke (a bigger crankcase with more oil) - 36kg 2. I am assuming you are referring to the height to the top of the frame - 140cm (90cm to the top of the engine) 3. No 4. Approximately 58kg static thrust, but the dynamic thrust is enough to get an 80kg pilot to 1000ft in 3.5 - 4 minutes with a medium Apco Vista HP. 5. 175cc for the FS1 - no plans to produce anything bigger at the moment 6. The production has already started - as I said there wont be a low hang point version. 7. 2.0 - 3 litres per hour - but this can depend on the pilot weight, size of wing, conditions and height gain on cross country flights.
