  2. Quite powerful? Says only 137lbs of static thrust. Must be a typo. I think they mean 347.6lbs of thrust! Mikey
  3. I also got 2 sets of these batteries. They are unbelevable power for the size. My old lead acid was 2.7kilos. These new ones are 280gramms and have more cranking power. So New instructions would be.......... Lipo charge step by step. Batt. Type = Choose 'LiPo Balanced' <---- (new bit here) press start. right arrow till '2.0A' press start. left arrow till '14.8v 4s' hold start and it will begin. It should then remember these settings next time and you should only need to select Lipo Balanced. 2.0A and 14.8V will still be set. Cheers Mikey

  12. Another forum out there has been chewing this over for hours and hours. Many people are saying what could we learn from this tragedy? Its seems this guy took a collapse at about 100ft in rough air and never recovered. Some say if he had a reflex and came in fast with trims out he would not have got the collapse. Who knows? I guess be very carefull in what type of weather condtions you are up in the sky. Cheers Mikey
  13. I'm not sure, But I think the only money the BHPA get is from its members. I could be wrong on this. If this is true, it means the AAIB can ask the BHPA to help with any PG/PPG accidents even if the accident is to a non BHPA member. Any one confirm this? Cheers Mikey

  20. My old DK Whisper was high hang points. Had it converted to a Volution. When I used the wing for Paragliding, I was swapping between high and low, a real pain! Cheers Mikey
  21. Well another way to to look at it is to see if your Paramania glider has to have the Brakes on the high or low setting. Not the most scientific way, but it does give a rough idea. I think the list still works for that criteria. Cheers Mike
  22. Hi I think the following.. PAP..........................Low RAD..........................High H&E..........................Low Parajet.....................Low Flat Top....................Low Fresh Breeze.............Both Custom Air Cruiser......Low Maybe some of these have different options, but this is what I have seen out there. Added Custon Air, as it price is about £300 more than a Macro. http://www.custom-air.co.uk/ Cheers Mikey
