  1. I was also a none reflex flyer for many many years .......... it wasnt untill I was persuaded to fly a reflex wing ( under Duress ) I understood what all the fuss was about.... my eyes were opened it was like ( A NEW BIRTH ) the flying window due to weather conditions is extended massively also the new breed of reflex wings are very manoverable this was not the case with the first reflex wings its a win win win situation my none reflex wing now lives in the garage and probably wont be used again.... dont waste your time flying a none reflex sometimes all of us make the wrong decision. ...this is YOUR chance.....to get it RIGHT
  2. Not sure whether any link to Mr Notam will help any flyer these days as it would seem that they dont think a display by fighter jets and rescue helicopters for an audience of around 10,000 requires a Notam. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6436 it seems to be a case of when it suits.............
  3. I was thinking of some information on reliability other from the seller of these engines as he is bound to be at least a little little bit bias
  4. I was also hoping somebody knew something of this brand as they undercut the oppostion on price by quite a long way....come on somebody must know some thing
  5. FORCE I had a fusion.....test flew the FORCE.....was blown away by the speed and manoverability....and the way the tip steering reacts is unbelivable so I bought one and sold the fusion.... Feel the Force
  6. Dont try and make something out of this that is not implied .....its not written in any operating proceedure that the pilot in command has to apply the throttle within a certain time of being given clearance by ATC.... as long as he doesnt decide to just stay there..the moment he decides to throttle up is up to him the pilot what I meant was that it was so unlucky of him to commit to take off at that precise moment when a few seconds sooner or later and there would not have been a crash and nobody would ever have been any wiser about Geese being in the way..all his decisions after the impact were proven to be correct It shall we say WAS WRITTEN from the Big man above ps I am not religious in any way
  7. Sometimes SH*T happens to the best.... I know

As anybody worth their salt will tell you they are only ever spotted at night ps I also am legally not allowed to say something I know on this subject
  9. Ive Tried and flied the rest now I only fly only the best Apco Force
  10. DONT DROP IT..... AND if you are thinking of flying with it (I am sure you are) will it be insured for that activity.....Check the small print..on the policy

  12. Bloody Hell I hope your holiday ends soon I carnt take any more of your videos I am on sensory overload the scenery is just amazing/stunning/beautiful. it makes me just want to get up there and fly my HEAD OFF and the worst part of it is I probably won’t be able to this year because of my injury so watching your videos is like a Big carrot being dangled cruelly just out of reach.....
  13. It just gets better and better But it has to be said I’ve been surfing up and around the North West coast of Scotland for a couple of weeks or so every year for around 15yrs + and the weather can be unbelievably bad sometimes even the campervan has been close to flying away and been so worried I’ve even tied it down So you have LUCKED OUT BIG TIME with the weather some years my paramotor never even came out of the van and the rain has been going upwards for the whole week !! Still that was one of the best ever trips for the surf Keep the Videos coming that last one was like watching a National geographic program
  14. I don’t reckon you will ever be the same again this looks like a life changing trip. Bet you’ve been looking at house prices
  15. Which / what on order....
  16. I carnt believe youve done that but may I be the first to Congratulate you on your actions Way to go
  17. Ive never ever ever been so interested in somebody elses holiday Keep the videos coming....makes me want to take (very very) early retirement and just hit the road Live the dream not dream the life
  18. Am I missing something here The way I see it/understand it is that you don’t need a licence to teach or to fly tandem legally in this Country (the good old UK ) so the fact that some organisation decides with its own agenda says that they will issue licences whether it be for a single or dual footlaunch means to me that because it’s not a legal requirement it’s a made up requirement let’s say it’s a pretend requirement so in a court of law surely it wouldn’t hold water or am I wrong I stand to be corrected ps (on one leg)
  19. I know Ive also been watching it as well (leg Fu*ked) hats of to the pilot though he made all the right choices apart from throttling up a few seconds later/or earlier and he would probably never even known that those big Ducks were there
  20. WELL I’ve face death in the face before and survived so yes I would go up with him perhaps I might even be able to help with the finer points of the procedure we’ve all got to start somewhere ehh Somebody who is obviously just having a go at it should not be discouraged but encouraged so they perhaps get it right one day I notice that the video is a couple of years ago so I would expect there would be some improvement by now......do you know who . ..it is/was Neilzy If I can guess do I win ......
  21. BMAA instructors are endorsed, licensed and insured to teach. The BMAA route (with some exceptions) usually involves the use of a tandem paramotor to get the student used to flying and manoeuvring the wing. This system of training is much like learning to drive. The instructor is sitting right there behind you giving you instructions and demonstrating what you should do and what you should be aware of. Training takes around 7 days depending on ability, agility and weather conditions - BMAA instructors go through a very rigorous training program that includes a first aid certificate and a tandem rating. Equipment is normally supplied and rates vary form £100-150 per day. After successfully demonstrating your ability to fly and passing the exam a BMAA FLPA rating maybe awarded. I Do miss the good old BMAA system things were so much better in the old days still they do control all trike flying so all is not lost yet ps Im in Im in .... ....is there a R in it
