  1. Looks like you had fun pete. Lucky sod. Looks like Sun/Mon are going to be flyable are we likely to see you down Lambourn way?
  2. Hi, You could also try TP props they are on the net based in Thialand and do a huge range of props two blade, three blade and four blade in all the popular sizes. Their delivery time is pretty good as well 3 days for the one I ordered. Hope you get one soon as not flying is just a bummer. Cheers Col......
  3. Just heard on the news that it was'nt the Captain that was at the controls when it all kicked off but his senior co-pilot.
  4. Managed to get an hours flight myself at Blewbury. . Left it too late to fly with Simon at Lambourn and didnt fancy my chances of gettin back out the field without his landie to help. That and it would have been far too energetic to hump all my kit across the field to the take off made Blewbury my best choice ( Tarmac road all the way ). New Photo's in the album.
  5. you cant get your head much further down than it is can you being a dwarf like Enjoy your trip and we want to see photos. Cheers Col

  12. Hi All, Could well be up for it but depends on dates as I'm working nights on 1st,2nd and 3rd but free for the four days following. If it fits in and I go Simon we could car share would be cheaper than driving your landi up there. pretty sure we can fit all the kit in the car though you would have to breakdown your parajet. Let me know and we'll see what we can orgainise.. Cheers Col.........
  13. Hi All, Well I got a fly today. Very weird it was to. From the ridgway towards Lambourn clear as a bell and from the ridgeway towards Swindon absolute pea soup. Very picturesque. It was forward launch on the ground but at about 400ft there was a bit of a wind shear enough to leave me gale hanging and going backwards just a little. Had to drop down to about 250ft to make any progress so decided to land. Back to a very gentle breeze on the ground. It was only a 15 maybe 20 min flight but I learned a lot . Anyway I got my fix so all is well. Cheers Col.......
  14. bet that makes you walk awkward leg in armholes cant be good. cheers Col

I'm driving the support van for this trip and I would imagine may well pick up a few other jobs that are going spare. your right about having something to look forward to for when the decent weather returns. cheers Col....
  17. Hi Tony, Didnt have any issues with the carb but as I said the walbro 37 has been fitted since I bought it. Couldent comment on the standard carb as I have had no experiance. All and all I have to say that it is the dutiful workhorse its made out as but thats no bad thing.
  18. Hi Thijs, I think the things said about reflex wings depends on how the things looked at. Hard to collapse and very stable makes it good. Once collapsed very dynamic and longer to recover makes it bad. I personally go with the first point of view. I would say that about 70 to 80 % of the club members fly reflex type wings. I certainly havent heard of incidents or situations due to the wing rather than the pilot. Whats the flying like in your part of the world. Would have thought that there would be very little free flying due to the lack of hills. Perfect for paramotoring though. Hey why not talk to simon and be our first international branch. cheers Col....
  19. Hi All, I had the idea of getting a celeb to fly the tip2tip expedition with Simon and crew. My initial thought was Ewan McGregor as I belive he already flys a paraglider. I put it to Simon and as you can guess his answer was good idea go ask him. Well I have no idea as to how to contact him except through his agent but I'm worried that the request would be filed with the rest of the nutty and wierd that I'm sure he gets. So the point of this post. Is there anyone who has contact or works in the industry that may be able to contact him direct or be able to present the idea to his agent in a we ar'nt a bunch of nuts way. If there is pm me or drop a line on skype . Cheers Col.....
