  1. Also looking to sell my NAC helmet with MicroAvionics MP100 headset with. Yasua MT 270 2m Radio offers ???
  2. I flew a FT and yes I agree with Simon it’s not the best system with a flick you have the potential to be free from the harness which is a scary thing. As much as I loved my FT I would always pop a cable tie through the quick release lever a thin cable tie which with a really good jerk would snap it’s much safer.
  3. I have Kiess waistcoat XL and Keiss inner gloves for sale used once it has Kiess Battery and temp control included and works well battery holds up for at least one hour at full temp which is lovely and warm longer on lower settings. Also have a really well made IDE Flying suit with EC Extreme Logo in back very comfy and well made XXL offers I cant upload images but can email or txt pictures if needed Neilzy
  4. If it’s a Walbro best place to start is Rowena Carbs they will have a rebuild kit etc reasonably priced. Or go direct to the PAP dealer
  5. Yeah sounds like it Patrick thanks for the input I will pass it on to him
  6. Does anybody have any footage of my mates failed launch on Sunday morning was rather spectacular it was I believe one of the last disasters of the flyin. It was a Bulldog and Red Synth last seen heading towards the midfield windsock. Could do with a bit of footage to establish what exactly went wrong although I believe a, should have bailed earlier in launch b, not attempted jump into harness which ended in prop strike and pride being hurt. Any footage please would be gratefully accepted Neilzy
  7. I fitted one of these a few years back I fitted it to a Kobra converting it from a low hang point to a high hang point. Kobra was a bit like a PAP and it fitted no problems at all, I flew it twice and was comfortable and spacious for me and worked ok.
  8. So I’ve attended a few PMC Flyin’s And I personally have to say it’s by far one of the best gatherings without doubt, it’s the people attending that make the event what it is. Simon Little Col and everyone who helps along the way make PMC events legendary I’ve been attending for around 5/6years and although I say it every time “best one ever Simon” the next one seems to be better and better and better. For anyone who is weary of attending a flyin maybe because they feel they not the best flyer, feel possible others will look down on them etc etc you will most definitely find this NOT the case at any PMC event you will not come across a friendlier more helpful bunch of people wether your flying or just along to see what the sport is all about. As for the comedian his opening line about wrong PDF file still makes me chuckle now. So once again what a fantastic flyin the best ever by far surely it can’t get any better lol but we all know it will. Neilzy
  9. I’d certainly have a good look at the Airconception Nitro & just released Tornado the Nitro 200cc and by far the lightest unit out there I weigh 120kg and it powers me up and away with ease whilst the extreme lightweight frame and engine make it a dream to have on my back and by all reported the Tornado 280cc is only a fraction more in weight. AC have an excellent machine strong and powerful have a look try one on at Parafest you won’t be disappointed.
  10. Well I weigh 120kg that’s around 19st in old terms I’m using a Nitro 200 on a Reportair 28 yep running and failed launches can sting a bit but once I’m airbourne its all well worth it. Training will be tough although once your technique is perfected it gets a lot easier. I pay attention to the detail laying out my wing and into wind etc it all helps feel free to pm if you wanna chat. Happy to help Neilzy
  11. Had to order one from the states apparently the WG8 has now been discontinued as it was only made for a certain chainsaw that is no longer in production so new ones are going to be few and far between
  12. So another successful meeting with Southend ATC and another year of Flying inside the ATC zone negotiated with a tour round the tower and radar all in all a good afternoon.

  16. They all have Nikisal Coatibg even the older type there not a rebore option sadly. New piston & barrel is the only way.

  19. Some year back I managed to fly into an ATZ Southend airport was subsequently shut down for two hours. So basically I took off with map in hand no glasses and managed to turn up and follow the wrong river and infringed the Southend airspace. Kinda knew how wrong I’d in fact got it when they were waving at me from the control tower. Anyways I landed got in phone and said it was me they were very pleased I had called and advised that they would have to contact CAA. A week later a CAA man called me and we had a lengthy conversation and he then said it would have to go to their enforcement team their police but again a nice polite informative conversation both ways. A few days later a had a phone call and a meeting was set up at my home with their policeman. We had about a three out meeting I showed him my gear and we spoke about the infringement at length looked at maps of the area and his recommendations were that I spoke with Southend ATC and a stern warning not to fly over the upcoming Olyimpics as he predicted I wouldn’t survive. So another week passed and was then invited to Southend ATC for a meeting with the manager we were shown around ATC and had a good chat about what we do. We then agreed that we would call ATC everytime we fly so that they would be aware of us and direct air traffic to be on look out. This work well so well in fact when Southend extended its ATZ which took in our field we were invited back for another meeting to discuss a way that we could continue using our field a fly. An agreement was drawn up with CAA approval which we sign every year and it’s working well. None of this would have been possible if a, I didn’t own up b, talk and listen c, by new glasses. My point I’m trying to make is yes we are all annoyed at what’s happened and I’m sure the culprit is equally annoyed at what his actions have caused but hanging them out to dry is not really the best action, but rather educate and talk (& listen) to all involved maybe the culprit would be more likely to own up if he she knew the outcome would be good rather than a punishment. Just saying from experience Neilzy
  20. I’ve got one of those fitted to my Nitro Geoff looks good have mine fitted on the throttle of my Nitro what did you get in the end Geoff !!!!!!!
  21. So then Geoff what you buy in the end ?????
  22. I’ve had quite a few motors over the years in the main because of my weight 120kg I’ve always needed a fair bit of power hence the need for the big motors in the past Simonini’s etc then went to a Moster then for some unknown reason I tried a Thor 200 they’ve all been good and had no reasons to complain other than weight with bad knees and back any prolonged walking or bending just hurts. So when the Nitro came along as with the Maverick with there advertised weights for me it was a blessing now whilst I’ve never had a Maverick on my back I have seen and lifted one and I can tell you the build quality is as expected superb and the weight with the Moster is light, now having own and flown Nitro I can tell you it’s like a whole new world opened up to me the unit is light and although slightly less powerful than the Moster just ticks all the boxes for me mine is the basic pull start model easy to start comfortable for me at my age weight and level of fitness it’s a game changer and as for aftersales service Vince again ticks all the boxes
  23. I would look at the Airconception Nitro lightest machine out there well built titanium chassis comfortable harness, great after sales service, bags of power but delivered smoothly well usable machine in today’s Paramotor market a real game changer
  24. I’m 264lb and fly a Airconception Nitro as well as being super light it has bags of power for my style of Flying well worth a look at Neilzy
