  1. So I've finally gone a done it first new wing since I bought my first in 2006 (synth 34) this time I've opted for a Reportair 28, I've been looking at the lastest New wings recently and how far technological has progressed and there are some super New wings out there I'm really looking forward flying this year. All reports suggest the Reportair to be living up Dudeks marketing claims so can't wait till it arrives and hoping to get a few flights on it before the Bore Chaser. Neilzy
  2. Ok i have a AC Nitro an for me at 120kg naked (don't tend to fly naked harness chaffs) the Nitro has bags of power I've also had a Moster and although slightly more powerful id say both engines are comparable both gave me an abundance of power both delivered a smooth power through the range, at 120kg the longest flight on the Moster was just under 2.5hrs which for me was enough on landing the pain from the cramp sat in the same position was excruciating so i tend to fly around the 2hr mark. The Nitro to be honest I've not flown any length of time yet but will say its comfortable so so light and very well made, quality bit of kit and very well priced, I've seen a Maverick and having also owned a Zenith the Maverick doesn't disappoint typical Parajet superbly engineered, quality is second to none although at a cost which is a shame. For me the Nitro ticks all the boxes and once on your back and once flown it really is a game changer for us larger/older types
  3. Understandable really best forum out there (here) for paramotoring
  4. Stu I remember some fella who was making custom covers for motors reasonably priced as well I'm sure I've seen them on EBay recently
  5. Crikey it's getting popular we gonna have to have ATC soon at this rate !!!!!!
  6. I got the Titanium AC no electric start etc and have no complaints it so light and to be fair it starts so easy in the pull start so not overly bothered about having a starter
  7. Won't go far wrong with a Nitro I'm so happy with mine
  8. You will find this little tool from Walbro very handy if replacing needle's for getting the correct height, it covers most of the Walbro range. It's all part and parcel of the pop off pressure.
  9. Maybe we get to see the master rebrobate !!!! will be nice to meet you Alan
  10. Ok so I've been here for quite a while now and I don't mind saying how much I like the PMC, the forum a great source of information and the Flyin's for the super sites, people, atmosphere it's become for me & the wife something we enjoy throughout the year. I'm always on here banging on about coming to the Flyins etc and one reason I'm finding myself writing this post is to say to all those who haven't yet come along, even just for the day to watch or join in you really should, for those new to the sport or wanting to see if it's for them etc get yourself along I see so many newbies asking, what to do how to do it, and to be honest you won't go far wrong coming along and seeing for yourself Simon organises the events for us New and old so if you are thinking I need to be flying or I need to be in training No just come along and have some fun. Ok just needs to get that of me chest Nuff said ta ta Neilzy
  11. Cheers Mr Blue Hat I was going to message you lol but that helps does your Sony come in all the plastic waterproof case etc and how do you find editing (be careful here as you may be signing up for teaching me lol)
  12. Ok so I'm looking to purchase a new camera, I've been using a drift and they getting a hut dates and I've not really used them to there full potential, part in main because I'm lousy at using edit programmes. So what is the best route I'm thinking a Go pro as I'm told they really easy to use and they come with a good edit programme I'm using a mac book if that makes any difference and should I look at the 360 camera or stick to just the norm. Not looking to be the next Spielberg just would like to have some nice video.

  22. Hi Tricky a few years back i had a reserve in a PAP container mounted behind the head on the frame i quite liked it there my thought process was in need its just a case of reaching back grab and throw. To me it made sense either hand or both I've heard others say that it might not be so easy whilst in trouble due to centrifugal forces etc, but for me i liked that position out of the way and easy to grab.
