  2. Just fitted a tow bar to my car so I could use a Bak rak to transport my motor around. I'm not quite sure what I was expecting it to look like once fitted...... but I think it just looks wrong. Tom

Learner driver may be able to go to Shabbington I have never been to the Shabbington field so hopefully someone else is up for it so I can tag along Tom
  7. Having followed this post with interest, For what it's worth I agree with Simon's stance on this. I don't doubt that you have been having problems with there products and I for one appreciate having this forum as a way of finding that out, Same as all the people who post "parajet what amazing service" (it was the reviews on this site that made me want one) Censorship is not a good thing but if you were asked to alter the post and didn't then did you not expect it to be removed? The problem is there is a big difference between a post sharing problems that you have experienced with a product with the intention of informing people. And posting three posts that basically said that they're shit and do not buy one,use them, touch them with a barge poll (not a review) The post was intended to stop people from buying there product and if they can prove they lost business as a result of this forum then SW will have a big head ache and it's not worth the risk. I would like to see the post back in a different format as I believe it's important to get the information out there as poor customer service is not good! Tom
  8. I am having a similar problem with my revo when pulling the trims in they just slip back through the clamps, I have to put my thumb over the top and pull the clamps closed. I'm in contact with Serge at paramania about it. He has asked me to send him a picture of my risers (to confirm if the springs have been changed I presume?) I have the old style risers. Tom
  9. I use a Panisonic DMC-TZ7 thats quite good for video and not too expensive. Here is a vid I took in Spain it's quite a boring vid but only uploaded it to see what the quality is like, and I have yet to figure out how to edit video It's so jumpy because I used velcro to fix it to the top of the reserve... Bad idea if you want still video [youtubevideo]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQFkWJ2_sWY[/youtubevideo] Tom
  10. Are they the HD one as the quality doesn't look great? or is it just uploaded at a lower quality? Tom

  13. Eddie, I havn't flown anywhere in the UK yet, and I agree flying alone isn't ideal. I have been trying to find somewhere local ish to fly with other people. Could I come over to the Shabbington field? Tom

  17. Thank's for all the advice and words of wisdom it's always welcome, as I know that I still have a hell of a lot to learn about flying. Hopefully I shall have lot's of fun learning, and I'm already dreaming up XC's I can do. I'm hoping to go field hunting this weekend so hopefully I will find a nice farmer Tom
  18. At last! after what seems like ages I've got all the kit together I need to go flying I just fitted my reserve to the harness and that's the last piece of a rather expensive puzzle that's been me learning to fly and getting all the kit (all second hand bar the reserve) I am left thinking "now what" it quite strange as I have been on ebay, forum, classifieds for ages and now all I have to do is go flying when the weather is right that is! I am slightly bricking it about my first flight on my own, not because I don't know how to do it but because I'm used to that reassuring voice in my ear and now It's just me making all the decisions (good ones I hope!) But I can't wait to get up too Tom
  19. Just going for the standard I think, not ordered yet.... trying to get it past the wife as I have as she put it "spent an f ing fortune on paramotoring this year"
  20. Yes looks like it's on. I know there was talk of it not being on this year due to poor turn out last year, but I guess that came to nothing.
  21. Sounds like a cool project! I look forward to following your progress over the winter
