Dan, Don't get too down !! you will get their it's just delayed a bit. I don't have a motor yet but have some thing in the pipeline, I started GH when I got back from my first week in Spain with a borrowed swing arcus and a free flying harness. The wing was great for GH but the harness was too tight and squashed my nuts every time I put it on!!! no pain no gain So i'm still using the harness now but have given the wing back as I got a second hand Revo from ebay. Tom

I have just got a Garmin etrex summit Hc and was wondering if I can upload an airmap / Os map to it for more detailed mapping ?? Obviously I will have an airmap as well but would be handy to have. Can anyone give me any pointers? Cheers, Tom

Dan, Guted !!! That's really shit luck I broke my little toe about 4 months ago (stubbed the bannister!) and it hurt like hell! I fly out to skyschool tommorow for my second week's training and would have been good to meet you, keep the dream though toe's heal As for the wing... definatly go full size I got mine from ebay and it's fine. Ok, helmet came from Italy via DHL within a week so great service, the only thing is it only just fits but it will do the job so can't be arsed to return it back to Italy! But I can recomend Icaro for good service anyway, when I have a radio a will get the same one as Norman as they do that one in xxl 61-63cm Tom

I shall try as I can't fly yet I can be hung over with no real negative effect!! I will be bringing my revo that came today a will hopefully be able to persuade someone who knows abit more about them to give it the once over for me I will be there sat lunch time due to family stuff Oh and is there a bar or do I need to stock up on the way ? I will definatly be buying a reserve before I fly anywhere! But what is the minimum height for a reserve to be any use?? 200ft? or is that to low.

I was speaking to my dad this morning and he used to do alot of hangliding, he knew a bloke who jumped of a big hill with out doing up his harness not a good day out ! When I am all sorted for kit I was thinking about laminating a small card with a preflight checklist on and fixing it to my harness. Tom
