  1. Jesus !!!!!!! this is painful to watch especially the ones that flare before they are anywhere near the ground, if it wasn't for the excellent music I'm sure you would hear snapping legs.
  2. Has anyone changed the throttle over on a parajet? is it possible? Tom
  3. I have got the lumix tz7 and I find it very good. 10.1 mp, massive screen,25mm leica widescreen lens, 1080i Hd video (only15 mins at a time) It's very easy to use even with my left hand (rh throttle) I covered mine in heavy duty velcro so it sticks to my reserve container or fits in my jacket pocket. I tried taking a dslr up last flight but its a pain in the arse!! cant use the bloody thing with the left hand no live screen, cant zoom, too bulky for flying imho Here are some images I have taken with it. here is a vid it's an awful vid but gives you an idear of the quality [youtubevideo]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQFkWJ2_sWY[/youtubevideo] It's not the cheapest camera out there but you get what you pay for If I was buying a camera for flying and general picture taking I would buy this one, but if I was buying solely for flying I would get the gopro hd. Tom
  4. This one is my favorite too.. [youtubevideo] [/youtubevideo]And the trailer for paramotor in space is quite funny too! Tom

Tom
  6. Ah I was just figuring out how to shrink the picture and Peteb answered the question
  7. Maybe you have the three blade prop? I definatly have rubber mounts Tom
  8. Hi Andy, Thanks for that, the files are taken raw on a Canon 350d. I put them in cs4 but when I changed the image size I lost all the quality so gave up I have done it before but couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong and it wasn't that great a picture anyway so gave up . Cheers, Tom
  9. Does anyone know where I can get 6 of these from? Mine are starting to split and perish so going to replace them. They don't sell them in the online shop but will give parajet a buzz in the morning unless someone know of a better place to get them from. Cheers, Tom
  10. Did anyone else just see on news24 someone going down the road on a sledge with a paramotor on their back! Looked like great fun! bid dodgy though he had a little girl on the front and there were a few other kids about. Tom
  11. I would wait till you get a few reviews for Rad before you include them in your list of possibles. Tom
  12. Did you mean "good" ?? don't think I have ever heard of a god telescope but I can ask down the church
  13. Few too many mince pies?? The wing seems to be hanging back a bit too.
  14. Groundhandling is worth its weight in gold! get some training get a cheap wing and do it whenever you can... before work... after work ... at work !!! Ask about for references on instructors, I never had a problem but I have heard some horror stories ! Tom P.s Do a bit more ground handling!
  15. I don't know the owner I was going to do some paramotor piracy Tom
  16. Nice one Dave, I was going to take off from the field next to my house today but it was too gusty Tom
  17. Dave this was not aimed at you I was referencing "imasuper" but I think he sells them. Tom
  18. I have nothing against flat tops I have never even seen one, I wasn't trying to pick on them Tom
  19. This post remided me of another youtube video I have seen. [youtubevideo] [/youtubevideo]The usual suspects are commenting that the answer to all his problems is to get a flattop but in reality he just need to spend more time learning how to ground handle a wing imho Tom
  20. The listing has changed... different picture and its now £1600 Something very strange going on there! Tom
  21. Thanks Dave you reminded me of another reason to buy british... it's going to be the best Tom
  22. I have a parajet macro, I did my training on a macro and decided that I didn't even want to try anything else. Positives: -Loads of power -British built -Great service and very quick on parts (not that I have needed anything major) -Easy to take apart and fits in the back of an audi a3 (with one seat folded down) -Huge tank (long range) -Good fuel economy -Good design -Looks the best out of an paramotor I have seen (in my opinion) Negatives: -Expensive to buy new (they all are) -Bloody heavy, you don't want to be stood around for long with it on your shoulders!! -Much better looking than the horendous looking flat top!(my opinion ) -Fuel tank does not come out for filling up at petrol station on an xc ~~~~trying to think of any more~~~ My wing is a Paramania revolution, I did my training on a gofly and was very happy with the quality of the wing so decided to stick with them and got the revolution straight after my training and fly it in full reflex using the tip stearing and find it very nice to fly. I got all my kit second hand and that worked well for me, the wing came from ebay (£1000) and the motor was from a private seller (£2800) if you get a second hand wing then you can get checked for around £50-60 at the loft or aerofix (and more im sure). My only other bit of advice is buy a british motor, for two reasons 1:supporting our economy 2:easy to take back if the need arises Tom
  23. we have 8-10inches here and still coming down ! I got stuck this moning and had to get towed home by my neighbors 4x4 I HATE SNOW
  24. Just got back after a great flight from Shabbington this afternoon, perfect conditions with no cloud although a bit cold (not moaning) Got a bit closer that I would have liked to an old ww2 fighter but not that close, just did a sharp turn to make myself more visible (must order that strobe) Was a load of hot air ballons over the other side of Thame, got a picture but its 22.8mb and can't figure out for to get it down to 800kb for upload Tom
