I have just ordered the new paramotor helmet from icaro, it comes with built in ear defenders or radio headset but as I have no idea what radio I will buy I just went for the defenders. it looks like a bargain at 165eur delivered but will have to see what the quality is like when it arrives. http://www.icaro2000.com/Products/Helme ... I have just bought a second hand Revo 28 (atlast!!!) would it be wise to send it straight to the loft or alike for an inspection ? as I don't have a motor yet anyway. How much does it cost for an inspection? does anyone have contact details for the loft? Any info/advise would be great:-) Cheers Tom

Well I was supposed to be going down to Mere this evening to stay in a pub so I could have an early start for two days training !! but the weather forecast has foiled the best layed plans I guess I should have known better than to get exited about it knowing what the weather has been like this year! oh well I have the night booked of work so I think I shall have a few beers instead Of to Spain again in a few weeks so hopefully!!!! the weather will play ball for that. Just looked a bit harder and the medium is 85kg-105kg so a 90kg me and a 30?kg motor is going to be well over the top end of the weight range

GIN BOLERO PLUS PARAGLIDER DHV 1 size medium - is this any good for a 90kg lump ?? also is it suitable for use with a motor I'm struggling to find any info that makes sense on the gin web site. is it any good? I am revaluating my budget for kit so I'm having to look at cheaper options than my original ideas :-( . Any info would be great. Cheers Tom

I think i might struggle to find some ground crew and as much as my wife tolerates my paramotoring and alike i doubt she would be interested in following me around france with a jerry can ! Maybe have a few landys and a trailer for a group of low hour pilots. Maybe a couple of high hour/ instructor to make sure we dont get into any trouble

I would be interested in the non race option for sure and maybe the race idea in a few years when i have built up some hours. I have been thinking about flying down to spain for a while anyway with the goal of getting down to skyschools training site near figueres in spain, but the mind boggles at the thought of all the organisation involved so to do it as part of a group would be great ! And for help the heroes or alike too !

Im still trying to decide what kit to buy (saving) and was wondering if the extra £600 for the revo is going to be a wise expence for my first wing. I did my first four flights on a GoFly and I thought it was fantastic but I have never touched a Revo so can't compare. What are the major differences, is it just speed handling ? safety is a big deal so is the gofly going to be a "safer" wing? (for a bigginer) Cheers Tom <------ ME Lol
