Gotta grab the weather when it presents itself. So far the best flight for me to date was down at Dymchurch by the coast - brilliant Mike
  9. Cool thanks Simon. Cheers for the tips. After seeing some of Paul Haxby photos of winter from above it has inspired me. Mike
  10. Well, I thought its been so quiet on the Kent front here I'd drop a line. A few of us fly out of Pedham Place Golf @ J3 M25........... on and off. Today was bloooody cold but a flight had to be had!! Vitaly and myself set up and took off. I only lasted just under an hour and Vitaly did just over an hour. Usually I pack my kit up this time of year and wait for spring next year. This year I am going to fly through winter - if possible?! Taking off and flying in snow would be interesting?....any tips out there? My hands as usual ..............more to the point - my finger tips froze!!!!!!! My suit held up well. Still has to be the ultimate 'buzz' sport!!! Till the next flight. Mike
  11. Tony I just received an email from them clarifying that you only need to provide your manufacturers wing production number and that they are aware of the wing registration with CAA but its not a necessity Mike
  12. Lee You after another one already? Mike
  13. Simon has this one been shelved for next year? etc? Mike
  14. Hi Rob, Do you mean when up in the air or on ground? I have a Ros 125..........starting from cold, prime only a couple of times and then start with throtte WIDE open, as soon as it kicks in ease off the throtte. When hot start (actually you probably do mean when-in air) then kick start with styrrup but make sure you dont depress the throttle ie leave it open......when it catches blip it and you are away. Works everytime with me. hope this is of help? Mike
  15. know the feeling Nick.................was up yesterday as well...................good to be back in the saddle............my longest flight - one and a half hours!!! Ok I wont mention the broken prop on landing - again! mike
