  1. So the old retired pauper had to settle for a stand up tent in the end for my paramotor, instead of one of those lovely mobliehome or even a spacious camper van. I've always preferred to be under canvas or the stars to be honest anyway.
  2. aaahh a posh git lol To be honest - I have, just, the setup is a lot bigger and quite heavy now so just seeing if someone has used something else. When I strip it down and the cage and other bits go in - it fills the car up. Just trying to get it sorted before I drive up for the fly-in. Don't want to put it on the back for a long drive and finding it tight for the car. I know - I'll buy a motorhome for my paramotor
  3. Looks like all you guys are too posh for me and travel in camper vans, mobile homes or helicopters etc Or am I the only one with a V3 paramotor and a car
  4. Does anybody use a modified/designed car back rack for the Parajet V3 frame. I have the Thule one and is was great for the compact - now finding it different to mount onto it? Any other guys having a problem and what was your fix? I don't really want to strip it down every time I go..... Cheers Tony
  5. Guys Matt is talking about the Davidstow Flying Club (DFC) at Davidstow airfield. It was solely a Microlight club with 4 active members until about 18 months ago and I arrived. Now it has increased in membership by nearly three fold I've just taken over as the PPG coordinator for my sins - so if anybody would like more information about the DFC, please PM me on this forum or use the details below. Visitors are welcome of course at a cost of £5 per day, but I'm afraid a club member needs also to be present. There is a MC member living nearly at the end of the runway and he counts guys going out and coming back home away Anyone interested - let me know Tony
  6. Simon - Sorry, I know how to do it - just need to do it The link does work anyway
  7. Excellent, exactly what the map is for @Simonw Looks like its working for you Tony (need a signature block)
  8. Looking good all #simonw Reference the colours/icons on the Memory map. I'm guessing the red icons are the instructors, but what is the different between the house or head icons?? Or is this changeable by the user?? Just wanted to post something
  9. Lovely motor. I saw Clive Mason putting fuel in for the first time and running it for 15 minutes (If that) I think Geoff was too scared getting the stand dirty Tony
  10. I know it is a bit late in the day, but any person travelling past/near or from Parajet going to the fly-in? My motor has just had a Health Check and my plans for picking it up on Friday has collapsed. Of course I throw in the money for the trouble Cheers Tony Update: My darling wife has swapped shifts - so I can pick up my motor Friday afternoon and travel down later. Please cancel the above pick up offer - 'didn't get any offers anyway! '
  11. Looks like the android version is out now on Play Store 'Aware' Tony
  12. On the other end of the scale You can purchase a £12 BBQ cover from B&Q, Asda, which easily covers the whole motor. You just need to tie the bottom (I use a small bungee)
  13. Guys Just to let you know that shortly I will be selling my Paramotor and Wing. It is at Parajet now for a 'Health Check' and hoping to pick it up on Friday just before the fly-in. Of course I will (weather/health permitting) be flying/showing both. My reason for selling is for an upgrade and not sure about the price yet, but it will be UNDER £2,000 for BOTH Anybody welcome to have a look and ask about it. Obviously it is an ideal package for a new guy under training. Just ask anybody about how solid the cage is and how safe the wing is. Anyway - just a quick note to let guys know about it and it you're interested please let me know. Tony Sorry - motor and wing is as per my signature block.
  14. Well I better go and have a look at them then

It will be good to see the results.

    DJI OSMO.

Have you used your one in the air yet? Just thinking it would be fiddly, but the result would be stunning. At the moment I think I would be too scared to use mine in the air - maybe one day. Tony

No - the picture quality is outstanding. I meant - you can't strap it to the cage of a PPG or fling it about like the Go Pro......

Yes!I purchased one a good few months ago with a additional bracket and the extension poll which you can put on a tripod Lovely bit of kit, quality is excellent (not like a go-pro thou) Tony
