  1. one can only speak from ones experience, I love my parajet, the service I had from them was, well over and above what any normal company could be expected to offer its customers. I created a my own self inflicted Parajet problem, not only did they help me out and turn it around before my holiday they did it for free, inspite of me owning up to my mistake. PS Pete - maybe you need some guidance with this "like a pussy purring on your back" thing. In general they should be purring somewhere else I have read
  2. If I were invited to go? Alas my ttpto - time to prepare take off - , is so long, I haven't been invited, but if I were. there would be only one engine for me a 4 stroke! its all about endurance over hostile conditions, and reliability. The ability to got 50% further on the same fuel load, plus machinery running far from their operating tolerenaces, would seal the deal for me. no doubt will be very helpful when you get into hopping over mountains / ranges good luck
  3. I believe what Norman is talking about is a content managment system. it is setup once by the pros, and then managed by the end user see link http://www.packtpub.com/award however I would say that you just need to be able to part of the magic that is pmc.org and as Norman says update occasionally with your best special offers, be they of a personal emotional or of a sexual nature.
  4. can you have paypal on there also, saves finding cards etc for the slack giver
  5. Just in case you dont realise its blowing south 9 and dropping with full sun tonight baa
  6. Have you tried banging the starter motor hard with a hammer / crowbar, no joke many starter motors then work again for a year. yours sounded like it had that problem. Well done on the flight other Simon
  7. To provide clarity, all i'm saying is you need a Tinytach model 1C, if you have a Parajet Macro, and hence probably the other models. the wasted bit is less about my nocturnal activities, more about the description of the 1c model. I hope it helps Simon
  8. try using the arrow keys on this page http://www.annecypanoramique.com/krpano_vv/20090509_vv_ITV/20090507_vv_ITV.html
  9. Hello Just a quick question, to ask does anyone else have the same problem. after I kill the motor at 50 foot up, I always have trouble with the trigger still in my hand. I like to gently take a wrap to bleed off some speed, I end up wrapping it around my trigger which is awkward. I am thinking of dropping the trigger and just getting on with the landing. what do you do?

    JUNE Fly-in.

Hi Dan you need the right hand section of the first map. Look to the end of the Benson MATZ and the word waterperry its there. Thats about the location, for a flight there looks like round the Didcot Chimneys and bear round the east of oxford. If we do it I will remember to take some extra fuel, just in case!!
  12. Colin "of Pink thrust fame" and I needed to switch his rev machine to twin spark whilst looking at my revs compared to his. once the setting was changed everything worked champion, I just ordered one from Mr http://www.tinytachuk.com @ £39.99 for the 1C model
  13. it fires every 180 degrees, therefore one spark is wasted baa
  14. Hi Dan, I cherry picked your sunday weather as "while inland in the southeast it should become dry and warm as well as sunny. " I'll be there at 9am baa

  16. Sunday looks good if a bit lifty, no doubt will be great flying first and last of the day leaving all those with 4x4 to go mogul bashing in between
  17. I am more worried about your sense of fashion, how could you leave the house wearing those trousers! They are outrageous!! Simon
  18. Does anyone know what this is all about ? http://www.yanengines.com/YanEngines/research/NASA%20Contest%20Final.pdf baa
  19. Hi Clever people I am looking to buy a prop from these people http://www.born-propeller.ro/index.php?language=de they are German, and did not win the war , however their engineering is undisputed. Their prop is £139 delivered as seen here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170298815939&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123 for a similar Paramotor. My question to you all, is their question to me, for the two bladed prop. "what is your propeller description, diameter and pitch? Anything written on it?" Many Thanks Simon
  20. sounds like "restitution lift" as the heat of the day leaves the earth and provides magic lift / PG pilots love it, around the restitution lift there must be sinking air to take the place of the rising air Go well Simon
  21. Tonight after work official sunset is 20:11 so you could technically be flying past 8:30. I went up last night and it was beautiful and smooth. I wish to go again tonight for about 6pm, the wind is forcast 4MPH blowing up the hill. Is anyone else interested? Simon
  22. Finally got up this evening at 7:30 with the pink thruster not far behind. the wind was still up to about 8MPH, providing easy takeoff and super smooth flying, trying to tickle my feet with the rape, well worth waiting for. Alas the pinky lost power, but Colin made a good forced landing with little time to think, hopefully will be back up tommorow. Baa
  23. Is anyone flying up the pole tomorrow, the weather looks lovely all weekend cheers simon
  24. Lovely undercarriage, James bond almost died between a pair of those
  25. They look lovely but, but you seem to be missing the umbrella girls that are always in F1, can you add them somewhere please, perhaps they could be Paramotor fans wearing bikinis who are lying around the landing field. waving flags
