  1. very sad Gordon! I love listening to music - you guys that don't are missing out!
  2. Like it. Would need that quick out system though for landing. I'd give it a go with the right Paramotor pilot
  3. Agreed Steve. Thats what I did last time - Thursday saw the weekend looking good and set off Friday night.
  4. Going to wait for Morgy to get back to the UK (first week of Jan) before we firm up plans. gonna be good
  5. Ok, I've been in touch with Paul Haxby who I went with last time. He runs regular flying holidays to the area and has flown Snowdon many times - his experience will be invaluable. He has a friend with excellent accommodation and the perfect take off site for a Snowdon mission. He has agreed to run a flying trip for us. I'm getting excited
  6. Snowden is a good one - did it last year with my brother. I'm also up for braving the NE Come on Morgy, when we going then Whitters that is a cracking idea - lets hope for better weather in 2012!
  7. This sounds like just what I'm after. I'll be in for sure. Any idea of dates?
  8. Cheers Barry / Mark Hambrook is a FANTASTIC site. I for one really appreciate being able to fly from there. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. Looking forward to a flying packed 2012
  9. SurfBird, I have a Miniplane Top 80 and a PAP Top 80 (For sale) I weigh 85kg and fly it with my Nucleon 29. On Full bar (with pulleys just overlapping) I can maintain level flight on the PAP (125cm prop) and climb on the Miniplane (130cm Prop). At your weight the Top 80 is perfect! See my advert for the PAP in the classifieds section
  10. Looking good for an early morning flight from Hambrook. High tide 10:52 Sunrise 07:53 Any Essex boys getting up early?
  11. Amazing! Agreed Simon - 500 is a tall order. I got half way through an AFF course last year and then didn't finish it for one reason or another. I'd love to try a wing suit.
  12. Well done Neil, I'll be coming this time. Will fly in with Mark and Seymore with my New V5 when it comes

  14. Absolutely amazing. Fantastic skill. Afraid so Poz, how can any PPG video compete!
  15. 500ft is not a stipulation of altitude. So can be 500ft laterally...... I vividly remeber climbing into a field having been swimming on a river - I got rushed by a herd of 20 odd cows and ended up sprinting the length of the field and jumping a gate just before they crashed into it! I give them a wide berth now.
