  1. Hi all sorry for delay replying- I don’t come here often - Simon sent me heads up. I’ve still got some materials to make more- not done any since last year- did a couple for friends- it’s quite an involved process. They are the same materials as original and as durable. I’ll see what materials I have and come back with info
  2. you might want to start a new thread. bholleran was a well known pilot in the UK and died quite recently in a paramotor accident
  3. No it's just risers with trimmers, the inquest said the jojo wing was afnor standard, with the free flying risers it was certified with. It was never certified with trimmer risers. Despite this they had been fitted and it sold as a paramotor wing. The inquest tested it at full trims and it would be EN D. Bhpa recommend pilots be advanced and 200+ hrs per year to fly EN D glider.

Parajet Parajet Zenith fitted with Vitorrazi Moster Classic 185cc engine. Black hoops and chassis with graphite silver spars and stand. Moster 185cc engine ideal for larger loads, tandem, small wings. Lots of thrust in a small and light engine. Well maintained. Engine has just been overhauled with new piston and rings. New pull start mechanism, new belt, recent new carb. Good starter even from cold and runs very well. Moster engines are well known for reliability and the zenith frame revolutionised paramotor design. No welds, all spares available off the shelf with Parajet's excellent customer service (very important when investing in a paramotor). Best to see the machine and have a proper handover, but I can deliver by arrangement. Service record maintained. Cash on collection. I will not send overseas. £3200
  5. i think parajet made a bailey mount plate- ive got a feeling that the fuel tank had altered mounts to make it lower to fit. speak to parajet to see if they can send you a technical drawing of the mount .
  6. i would recommend flyspain excellent instructors, accomodation and a really pretty town with good nightlife. you would need 2 weeks from novice to cp. cheap flights. full time bhpa school, good prices. its so good i go back every yr for 1-2w paramotor safari.
  7. my usual limit is 10-12mph, but its the gustiness i am concerned about, also my usual ppg take off is on a hill so i get a bit of venturi on the hill and am already at cruise altitude. if the wind is 10-12mph im not going to get far on an xc return so ill just play about. pg on hill limit is 20mph if smooth
  8. is that the horning on the broads- very nice there, near you would be windlands airfield or north repps airfield nr cromer i think
  9. I don't know if there are" clubs" but I hope you had a great time at flyspain. If you got a field that's fantastic, just need to build on your skills. Go to as many fly ins as possible. If you are on Facebook then the cloud hoppers club is nearish. But I don't think there are clubs like you get in micro lighting, more a loose group of local pilots. Daniel kettle is from up your way- pap dealer, he might know, or mark meadows, or Paul from Manchester paragliders,
  10. quick question vince- i have the microavionics pm100 but i am looking for a lightweight set up- just bluetooth to play iphone in flight- i use the pm100 for this and i like the volume function on the ear cup. any idea re diy/ bluetooth module that i could hack?
  11. mark meadows and daniel kettle and paul smith i think are from up near you, if you go to some fly ins after training youll meet up with people from the area enjoy flyspain- i know i do each time i go, say hi to rob,ric and marcus for me, cheers,- im quite jealous now
  12. why not try flying in fog or a cloud and then see if night flying is any more sensible.
  13. If the cht is that then sounds all good, check with mark Morgan re ppg meter, egt as you know very dependant on position of probe
  14. what make of egt is it? ppg meter? i had some problems with my ppg meter on the moster engine, what is your cht like?
  15. Icarus uk result- macfly polini 250, mark Morgan , approx 2.5l per hour viper 4 18
  16. daniel kettle is uk PAP supplier- he is in the world comps at moment,
  17. Yes it is normal, you have to depress the diaphragm button to lift the needle valve to allow fuel into the carb to prime. just get to know how much to prime on ground then put motor on and start on your back. I used to start for few seconds on ground the stop and stick it on my back and restart. But I've changed now and only start on my back,
  18. That's why we have VFR minimum meteorological conditions, to fly outside of those is frankly stupid
  19. I have never seen a moster silent,, but the moster Classic and plus sound similar but the plus also has a nice clutch and slightly different tuned carb. If I was choosing between the moster I would go for the plus. I've flown both.
  20. Have a look at flyspain, you can train quickly with ideal weather on excellent kit. There are some members in the Northumbria hang and paragliding club with motors but you would be closer to North Yorkshire sailing club who may have some motor members. if you want to pm me your email I can send you some contact info. Cheers
  21. Airwave Sport 4 size large for 95-120kg free flight weight. EN B manufactured 2009 aerofix services 2013 and 2015 porosity- Very Good 200sec top 242 bottom surfaces canopy and lines were rated as good. Colour red/yellow/gray. i bought this in 2015 for free flight and as paramotor back up wing, I've now got another paraglider so this hasn't been used recently. Nice stable agile wing . Well known and respected wing designer Bruce goldsmiths last airwave design. £350 inc UK postage glider and inner bag inc. I can send photos.
  22. is there any plans for an autumn bore chaser or fly in from the site, it is an excellent site with loads of options, thanks
  23. I live near Berwick, there are 2 of us flying ppg in Berwick, if you pm me your number I can let you know when I'm off out and have a chat about training, I'm not an instructor but I can show you the kit and give you some contact numbers, looking at the weather it may be fly able tues or Wednesday
  24. Use tips and brakes together unless on faster trims just use the tips. Use brakes only when near ground, low flying etc. best speak to an instructor if you are unfamiliar with certain aspects of the wing
