Was a fantastic flight Dan, and much nicer than flying solo all the time. Only wish I'd have climbed a bit more and got through the clouds as I was being chucked about a fair bit! Anytime you want to come and use the field feel free as it's always nice to widen your flying areas. Fly safe mate. Phil

Hi does anyone know where I can get a replacement foam cover for my NAC intercom. Looks like the little bugger fell off during a reverse launch. I know I can buy one from NAC but it's over €12 with the postage. Anyone have another source? Phil.

Hi my PAP Top 80 is for sale The spec is 2006 PAP 1250 2 part cage with TOP 80 engine fitted. Medium harness Updated later billet arms (fitted less than 20 hours ago) New wooden 115 prop New clutch springs (10 hours ago) Tiny tach (9 hours ago) New Exhaust downpipe I'm the second owner of this machine. When I brought it I was told it had done 50hrs, I since have done 22 so total is around 72. It has never let me down and starts and runs faultlessly. Price £2000 ovno Only reason for selling is i've brought a newer PAP!

Yes Pascal was second (results are here from Nats:- http://www.ppgcomps.co.uk/results/2009/ ... ipment.pdf) He was using a new Bailey 200 instead of his usual PAP Ros. Looks like team GB have missed the gold place by 94 points! Which is mad considering the totals are in the 23000's

[is any info on the fusion winning anything?this year Both Deano and Pascal are flying Fusions in the Worlds and doing really well. Infact Deano was leading overall after the first 2 tasks. Team GBR currently Silver but sooo close to Gold.

If he's getting through loads of props then buy some cheap ones from Thailand. You can get 2 inc shipping for £180. More worryingly is 4 props......that's a lot of mishaps, could he do with more training?

Hey Meds did you fly over Glasto in the end? I kept an eye out for you but never saw you. I did see this person though flying around 300' over the Dance Village at 19.30 Sunday evening!!

After much trawling of the forumns I went and brought a cheap secondhand Garmin Etrex Vista HCX, and I cant recomend it enough. It does everything I need like ground speed, altitude (barometric), distance, flight time and tons of other things. I use it to log all my flights and it only takes a minute to upload them all into Google Earth. It's also very compact and has good battey life. It's the only electronic thing I fly with. Phil

Hi Steve, i'll be coming out to join you at Skyschool on the 5th April to finish my course off with Alex. I did a week last September and have been dying to get back and finish. Regarding airport transfers, drop Alex a line and he'll arrange for Kester to collect you. Its cheaper than hiring a car. I'm driving over this time as I have my own wing and motor. Its a pity we're not starting the same day or we could have traveled together. Well only 61 days for me to wait..... Phil

Just thought i'd let you all know of a problem that I have just cured on my PAP 80 that could occur on any 2 stroke paramotor fitted with a priming bulb. Basically it had been running fine untill the other day when it was dying off at the top end. This eventually got worse so that it wouldn't run at all. I suspected the filters but after checking them found nothing a miss. One thing I noticed was that when I primed the carb the priming bulb was staying partly squashed, anyway turned out to be the crappy sliding plastic one way valve in the bottom of the bulb. It was sticking allowing you to hand pump fuel through but once the engine was running it couldn't suck it through on its own. Ended up changing it for a genuine Lucas one that I had kicking around and 10 times better quality.
