  1. This is an adobe PDF file. So either we need adobe writer, or a 3rd party pdf writing program, or the questionnaire needs to be made in a save enabled program like word. Cheers Mike
  2. This is interesting........ http://www.m2film.dk/fleggaard/trailer2.swf Mike

    WTF????

Could be an adobe flash player test. Guess it wont work on an iphone or ipad. Mike
  4. Nice one Barry.....Good effort! Just a thought, but could this kick in strap get tangled with the speed bar? Some paragliders have alot of the speed built into the trimmers and some have a lot built into the speed bar. Cheers Mike
  5. With the BHPA, and to fly solo, you need to have a Paraglider CP rating and/or Powered Pilot Rating to get their insurance. If you have passed both, then there is no extra charge. BHPA flying membership costs £89 (£7 less if paid by direct debit) annually and includes subscription to Skywings (the monthly magazine of the BHPA) and £2 million 3rd-party insurance cover. There are concessions for under 16s, 21 and under, and over 60s. If you only want powered cover, then there are cheaper options out there and you dont need to pass any thing to get the insurance. Cheers Mike
  6. Looks like it might be blown out tommorow down in Newhaven? Wind is out to sea from the land too. Mike
  7. Better watch having the wing fly over head and landing on the prop too (or at least the lines) Ouch! Mike
  8. Yes, what are the main insurance options out there these days Mike
  9. I think looking at the video, he would be getting no wind blast at all, as he is behind a wind screen, like many other small aircraft. Yes, it may well turn out to be a bad idea. Kudos for trying though. Mike I quite like (idea) myself.
  10. I'm sure some of you have seen this before, but it still makes me laugh and cringe at the same time!
  11. I flew a medium. Must admit I like the way it flew. Turned fast, lots of flare authority. Nice. Mike
  12. for the amount of revs there don't seem to be a lot of thrust/pull (Other video - he gets up fine after making adjustments) hang points are super high, knickers to that (agreed) no view to the front and a lung full of engine exhaust, bolx to that (Proptype, he can run exhaust below or along side and add more clear wind screens) think i'll stick to having the motor behind me, out of the way (This is testing and research) I'm a bit suprised at all the negative responses. You should see the first rear engined paramotors. I'm all for research into new areas. Mike
  13. Prop is in clean air, so produces great power for a 14hp engine. ?????? Why all the question marks?
  14. His weitht 82kg+clothes and trike 43kg+gasoline, and only 14hp engine. Interesting though. These are his first nervous flights. Prop is in clean air, so produces great power for a 14hp engine. Keep up the good work. Mike
  15. Yep I'm around tomorow. Wind looks light and all over the shop! What time at Powick? Cheers Mike
  16. Nice shade of light Red there! So what do you think for tomorow Jock? Mike
  17. Hi Luke. I live well inland, but where were you thinking of flying from. Cheers Mike
  18. Can you believe it . Monday the 17th is looking good for Paragliding now! Oh well it’s still a few days away. Probably gone off again by tomorrow? Mike
  19. Crikey. I thought the website photo was just a smaller frame with the larger prop put on it just for the photo shoot. Hmmmm......
  20. Thanks Guys. I would love to fly there, only if really safe to do so. We must also get a vid of Jock higher than 15ft above the puddles in his egg soon too...lol Cheers Mike
  21. Would love too Jock. Only ever flown Castle Morton at the Malverns. Bit worried about flying a spine back hill. Mike
  22. Same here Jock. Was going to Paramotor if wind drops and Paraglide, maybe at long Mynd, if it stays around 6 or 7 mph from the West. Mike
