  1. Hi Carl. I mounted a go pro on my Fusion a while back. [youtubevideo] [/youtubevideo]Go to about 2:48. Whilst it flew OK, I could really feel the weight when pulling up the wing for the reverse! In my humble opinion, it felt like too much on the A's. Front tuck? So if you must, keep it in the middle of the wing, between the B's and C's. Anyone have any more input here? Cheers Mike
  2. This guy makes a home made wing mount. My worry is, its a lot of weight... Mike
  3. Passing on some info. A nice chap from the council had a chat with us a few years back. Had a complaint. Whilst not breaking the 500ft rule is within our rights, we can be had for noise pollution and disturbing the peace. So we did the same as you guys and made our own no fly zone over this farm. Our apologies were passed on. All good since. Mike
  4. Hi Tim. That would be a 120mile round trip. Even Richard probably didn't do that in 3 hours. Mike
  5. A bit off topic, but very very interesting in my opinion. http://images.4channel.org/f/src/589217 ... hanced.swf Mike

  16. Actually my all up weight might be more than 150kg. I will check. I did not include the Fusion wing in this all up weight either. Mike
  17. Anybody else out there, able to do some rough top speeds of their wings? I flew a 16 mile trip into the wind/cross wind and back. Average speed there was 45mph (72.5 kph) Average speed back was 26mph (42 kph) Average top speed = 35.5mph (57 kph) OK not very scientific but just an indication. I shall try to do some more speed tests and get a better picture. Wing is a Fusion 28. All up weight was around 150 KG. Mike
  18. Teee Heee. Yes. Fooled me for a short while though. Mike
  19. Thanks for the heads up Dan. I was over 2500 ft for almost the whole trip, so as Jock said it was not I. Good idea to keep the flying around Powick to a min. Cheers. Mike
