  1. Busted! Fair cop Simon. I herewith confess to a vested interest in the Bulldog Spirit.........They are good though! Chris
  2. Or you could just buy the new Bulldog Spirit. Clean, simple and very strong!
  3. Hi Simon I'm still here. No flying this year at all! I broke my leg at work on Christmas eve last year and it has taken this long to heal. We shall be back training when the good weather starts again. I have Clives old Fresh Breeze paramotor, but it ain't seen much action! Have a great Christmas, catch up with you soon. Chris
  4. Simonini Paramotor Fly Castellucio SMN122 40 hrs excellent condition. £2200 Call 07736 553834
  5. Hi Simon, Give Clive Bunce a ring. He's the UK importer for Dudek wings, and should be able to put you in touch with a local dealer. His mobile is 07736 553834. Chris
  6. Hi All, Just a quick note to ask if anyone is thinking of coming to Challow, Wantage, for the PPG Nationals Rehearsal Weekend, that they DON'T fly-in. Everyone is more than welcolme, but if you want to fly, drive to the field, attend the briefings, and then fly. The field will be busy from the Friday afternoon with pilots performing tasks etc, and it may get a bit crowded. This is purley for safety reasons. See you there! Regards, Chris
  7. Don't tar us all with the same brush!
  8. How about helping this guy instead of taking the piss! Chris
  9. My local Lidl have sold out. It's a large branch, but were only alocated 3 watches! How stupid is that? Chris
  10. Hi Simon, to be honest, it's not a name I'm familiar with. We don't get involved with to much club racing these days. Occasionally we go to Castle Combe or Goodwood for a track day if someone else is paying, but most of the racing we do these days is in the "Shell Historic Challenge" throughout Europe. I even went over to the Leguna Seca Raceway just for a weekends racing. It cost £3500 to fly the car over, and £200 return for me in 3rd class for 13 hours. It rained all weekend and the car never went out! Chris
  11. Hi Alan, and welcome. I too am a radio amateur, I'm an M3 at the moment but progressing slowly. I have a Yaesu FT-920 through a centre fed dipole, great fun bringing in the weak Asian signals. I travel past your neck of the woods 2 or 3 times a year racing classic Ferraris at the Circuit Val de Vienne, just outside L'lsle de Jourdain, do you know it? Whats the flying like, are there many of you? My Sister and her "partner" have a place just outside Labastide Murate in the Lot region, the countryside is stunning. I only have about an hour under my belt, but I would love to be able to fly over there some day. Chris.
  12. What's a torque wrench?
  13. Seriously though Dave, have ago, if you get stuck, theres plenty of knowledgable folk on here that will point you in the right direction, you just have to ask. Chris
  14. Thank you Norman. What's this, "have a go at mechanics week"? I do hope the weather changes soon. Seriously though, I am trying to buy some diagnostic kit for the workshop, and the laptop and software come to about £60,000. You got to fix a lot of cars to get that back! Chris
  15. Ouch Dan, that hurt! Chris (mechanic).
  16. Hey James, Sounds like there's a story to tell, spill the beans! Chris
  17. Hi Simon, Can you tell me out of curiosity, what grade of aluminium Parajet use, and what do you mean by an "acredited" welder? Chris
  18. Another plus side of carrying an airband radio is that no matter where you are in the UK/world, there is always someone out there listening. If you end up having a bad landing and injure yourself in the middle of nowhere, cellphone reception is limited, PMR and 2mtrs don't have that good range (line of sight only) and someone has to be listening. With airband the emergency channel is monitered, and there is always going to be an aircraft flying overhead at some point to hear your distress call. They may well be pis#'"ed of with you, but at least you'll get help. My two pennys worth anyway! Chris
  19. Hi Norman, Sorry, I posted this in the wrong section. (Maybe Simon can move it for me). I did say "at least 6". I would hope the ground crew would be in the nearest pup getting them in! Good to hear the frames still in one piece. I have been quite busy the last few months fixing peoples frames (not all Parajet). Keep up the bumpy landings is what I say! All the best Norman, have a good and safe trip. Chris

  22. Heh Malcs, What demons are these? Chris
  23. Hi all No way am I leaving this sport, this is the best thing I have ever done. It must be said though that I have temporally lost the nerve to fly, which I'm working on, but I hope to be in the air again soon. The reason for me selling is that I am in the process of building a lighter, more comfortable machine and I need some money to finish it. Regards Chris
  24. Cheers Ian I was hoping someone might help me out with a link, your a star! Chris
