  1. Try On Risk as SimomW suggests. They will tailor make a policy to suit your own requirements, this usually includes Paramotoring abroad including search 'n' rescue, repatriation etc. It's worth a call to them. Cheers Terry
  2. Hi Richard, (Son) Welcome to the forum, I spotted you trying to sneak in the back door to the forum via the 'For Sale' section. It would be great to fly with you again soon, maybe we can meet up at Lambourn with SimonP sometime in March/April? Cheers Terry (Dad)
  3. Hi All At last I had my New Years Fix, my first flight this year was with SimonW a triangle from The Lambourn Takeoff/Landing Field towards and around the mast near the M4 then return towards the White Horse over the Lambourn Downs, flying over Simon's house and then back towards the landing field doing a few circuits, playing with the wing and motor before landing. A cracking little XC to get rid of the cobwebs. All in all a great day. Poor ol'e Colin couldn't join us as he had a little electrical problem with his motor, but as usual, he was there giving us all the help we needed. Cheers Terry
  4. Hi Russ, Welcome to the Forum and the Berks. Branch of the club. I will look forward to introducing you to some of the club members down at out take-off/landing field at Lambourn. Thanks for your offer of help with the Tip2Tip. I've no doubt that SimonW will sort out 'something' for you to get involved with the ground crew. (No you can't drive the Tank, as it's still a little wet.) See Ya Soon Terry
  5. Hi Do you want to Paraglide, Paramotor or both? As this will help with the replies to your question of 'what first wing'
  6. Hi Richard, At the moment we've planned a stop at Todmorden on the 4th day of flying for fuel. In one of your posts you talk about flying around Stailand. Is this any where near the local Restaurant you mentioned? As the distance between Todmorden and Stainland 8 miles (as the crow flies) so a little tweeking of the route is no problem, as nothing is final yet. It would also be great for the Yorkshire lads 'n' lasses to join us on this part of the route. Many thanks to the Yorkshire Branch and of course your sister for the generous offer of food and help. Cheers Terry
  7. Hi Simon, You didn't mention if the Hotel is full or half board.
  8. Hi Simon, What a great little video, it captures some of the fun and great flying we had last year.
  9. Hi Si Mort's, As Simon W suggested take a look at the wings for sale on this forum, look at the Ozone Mojo. This is a Paragliding and certified Paramotoring wing. A reserve is also included in sale with this wing. Yes!! it's my wing. PM me if you need more details. Cheers Terry
  10. Thanks for your reply Pete, I'll have a chat about which Airline and other related matters when you get back from Spain. Enjoy Terry
  11. Hi Pete, How are/did you get your Paramotor over to Spain. If it is/was by air, was there much hassle with the airline if any? Cheers Terry
  12. Hi All, I've put a photo in my album of the block, which includes the location of both the 3mm and 5mm bolts. I hope this helps Terry
  13. Simon , The bolt yout talking about you said you used a 5mm allan to tighten it which is correct. I think the bolt Parajet Simon is talking about (see his quote below for location) a 3mm allan key is used, so not the bolt your talking about. "THE TINY HEX BOLT THAT GOES THROUGH THE METAL COIL AND FIXES IT TO THE RUBBER BLOCK. (CONCEALED BY THE RUBBER BLOCK) "
  14. Cheers Si. Memories!!
  15. Hi Simon, As spoken, I won't be joining you all this training week-end, but will be on a recce. to Princetown area instead. With the weather as it is forecast, I'll be taking the 'Rigid Raider' and wellies, in place of the Parajet. ps What Pub would you recommend?
  16. But, Calming down as I type... SW Simon is there any thing else that goes with this message or have we got to guess what your typing re: your above quote?
  17. Ade, These are brilliant. What a talent
  18. Quote ..... ''My lovely wife Mia and I are staying overnight at Lands End on the 27th just after Christmas.''....... Hi Simon, When did you and Mia tie the knot? I hope Pattie approves with this new style parnership. See ya soon for walkies Terry
  19. Hi Woody A couple questions that may help with a more accurate response to your Question from other members of the forum. What DHV rating is this wing? If it's a high rating say a 2-3 or 3 and you haven't flown for a while. Would you like to use this as a Paramotoring wing? When was the actual wing last flown. Cheers Terry
  20. It,s all been said, I'd like to echo Togsie's comments about the social evening and say thanks to Simon and all involved. Maybe trying Sally-Ann's breakfast next year or before on the Tip to Tip stop over. Cheers Terry
  21. Morning Simon, Is the field open to all members and if so could you give exact location. An O/S Grid Ref. would suffice or directions from the main road entrance to your house. May be see ya there today. Terry
  22. Hi Sally-Ann Thank for mentioning my wing. It,s still for sale, together with a Gin One Reserve, the detais are on the 'For Sale' section of this forum. I don't think Togsie will be interested as it's a none reflex wing. But who know's!! I have just ammended the original advert and it now offers a FREE Gin One Reserve to anyone who purchases the wing at my asking price. See you all at Lambourn on 15 Dec. Cheers Terry
  23. Hi Simon, Count me in, my first aid at work cert has just expired and I need updating. Cheers Terry
