Cross country planning is easy
1 check air space on your route if there is any route around it.
2 Height to fly at and landing options at all times.
3 Distance to refuel and landing take off options.
4 Check the weather along your route
5 check Notams
6 Check the weather along your route
7 final check of all kit
8 Check the weather along your route

Neilzy,
I don't think of it as name dropping, I have known Pete for years!

If it has the reliability then I think the only thing it needs to be the number 1 power plant is
Fuel injection (for economy and emissions).
Twin ignition for safety (as most other aircraft)

Hi All
hase anyone bought from these people if so how did you get on.
I believe they do the Parajet and Freshbreeze frames
http://www.titangoods.com/sale%20ourframe%20en.htm
does anyone know the costs?
They will only sell to parajet, I wanted a titanium one and asked.

I can change it if you want tony but it will be a bit longer than 1/2 an hour.

From memory I don't think there is any adjustment between the starter ring and the starter motor.
Correct it fits on the taper on the crank so if it is not fitting right then one or the other taper is out.

I have just changed the back plate so I am guessing that it was never lined up when I bolted on the starter motor!!
1. Do you think I'm right? (some are like this from new)
2. Is it straightforward to replace the sprocket (anyone got a spare?)? (you have to get the small pulley off the crank first' date=' not easy you will need a puller and or heat)[/b']
3. How do you make sure it is lined up with the new one? ( put it on and if it is not on far enough you will have to fettle the tapered hole until it goes on enough to line up)
4. HELP (NO
I'm not mechanic and don't want to cause any more damage, which I think I cause here.............
Cheers guys.

Nice one Patric, well done.
-
Its worth trying to find out more about it or put some pictures up.
Im sure someone will buy it.
-
-
Put them in a little box labeled "broken springs"
Some people fill them with high temp silicon as it stops them vibrating so much.

Try before you buy....... some of the early ones did not have a great deal of power= loooong take off in nil wind and very slow climb out.

This is a long video but well worth watching as most of it applies to us as well. just scale it down to smaller hills/ objects ect.

Download AirNavPro if you have an iphone! It rocks
Agreed. Double check notams though as they dont show ALL

We all mess up some time thats life but its up to the person involved as to whether they want it out there for public view.
I personally think that as long as you are not hurt and there is an explanation as to why it happened then it can be
very informative for other people.

Can it be cleaned by removing the exhaust or does the head need to come off?
