  1. Hi all.

I have an old castaloucio ( probably spy wrong) solo 210 that is spare. I've been doing a bit of refurb on it and the swing arms come out from the frame dip down then rise up and turn in towards the pilot. Makes it uncomfortable as when under load the swing arms come and can press against you. This doesn't seem to make sense to me.

On my simmo the arms don't swing at all and just come out and turn up, similar on the bulldog my dad has.

Why is this, what is the purpose and is it possible to change this?

    Any thoughts would be welcome.

    Cheers Lee

    Pictures would help.

  2. If it makes a hollow sound when you open the throttle quickly, that's classic lean behaviour. If it runs rough (fires every other cycle) it's too rich.

Try richening your carb settings and see if it gets any better. No one ever blew a motor from it being too rich...

I agree with the above diagnosis.

  3. Thanks Pete

So even with the trike of around 80kg-90kg my weight is 80kg+ passenger will be 70-90kg, will be the same engine good as foot launch?

Which wing would you suggest for me?

I would get a large non reflex tandem wing and dont use small wheels on the quad.

80-90 kilo trike/quad. is that with the engine

  4. We tandem foot launch with the evo and its got a good climb rate, it would depend on your all up weight/wing type as to the climb rate.

We have a synth cabrio 46 which is a fast take off run and heavy to pull up but is super fast in the air, our main wing we use now is a Ozone magnum-1 41 its a nice take off speed and its not too slow in the air.

    Pete
