Do both mate! It opens 2 facets of flying to you and if you can fly from a hill in higher winds, it'll improve your wing handling skills which in the long run will make you a better Paramotor pilot and probably save you money as you won't be so prone to cocking up launches and damaging your kit.
I think you will find that most paramotor pilots are better at ground handling than paraglider pilots.

Dont ask just get one or just a life jacket, anything is better than nothing.
Fly with a full tank of fuel, less air in the tank means less bouancy trying to get to the surface. (assuming low mounted tank)

With regards to service your first point of contact is the dealer you bought it off, they should sort the problems for you.
If you had problems with you car you would not take it direct to the manufacturer you would take it back to where you bought it from, I cannot understand why all those that have had problems are doing all the work/mods themselves.

I think that after the problems with the 200 no one is going to risk buying one.

As I said call Dave thompson at the bhpa and talk to him, if you just want the power rating you do not need to do CP.

There could very well be tandem flights as part of a training session going on here.

Logged hours you have done, (not sure how many you need) or a quick flying assessment, (take off fly around then land) an exam paper to pass which you will know most if not all the answers too anyway.
Ring Mark Dale and have a word with him.

The registration paperwork was submitted to the CAA over the weekend, (Thanks Pete B for emailing me your exemplar)
I received a phone call from the registration department at 0930 this morning, as I had asked them to call me with possible registrations. They are up to G-CI at the moment. Now I have selected my reg I am now currently getting my wing all packed up to be sent of for servicing and the reg lettering added. Its like it all coming together now. I just need to complete my conversion training and I will be off up up and away.
Is anyone else out there building a similar trike or quad?

Ive got 3 different ones and a tandem chair on the go at the moment, when I get time to get back on them that is.

hey morgy my point is just for training purpose ,of course is not worth ,but many people who against normal logic thinking would like to do it themselves, not watching cost, for their own satisfaction
sorry but I dont believe you can find old more powerful unit for 1500£ ,unless is weighs 30-40kg
old top 80.

Mine is flown with ec extreme simo mini plus 2. My flights haven't needed a long straight run yet where it's been an issue yet. I found the risers a bit messy at first but once up everything just sorts itself out. Nice stable wing and fairly quick, but I agree at 34 it's a heavy bugger.
